Worth the punt by him IMO, didn’t work out (why Mumford was being played ahead of him was just staggering), at the same time vindicates the AFC’s decision at the end of 2019 as ROB’s clearly proven this year he was ready for the #1 ruck role. All the best in retirement Sauce!

If GWS had a decent coach he would have been playing finals in 2020. Definitely worth the roll of the dice, given Mummy is cooked.

7 games for GWS. Was it worth moving Sam?

Could have retired a Crow
Yes.

Why?

Played at two Clubs before GWS.

Probably would have got around $250k for the move for just 12 months.

He is probably glad he did do it, especially in the current economic plight of the world. Its not like Sauce has got a career gig in the media when he is finished.

Well, GWS signed him for 2 years didn't they and GWS just played in the Grand Final the previous year so it was worth it for Jacobs, who would have thought this asterisk season would have happened and the AFL would have shaft GWS fixture so much compared to Sydney's.

Sauce would have got a decent payout by retiring now too.

Played his last game against us, and ROB showed him why he didn't deserve another year with us.

Still, he was a good servant for us for a long time before tarnishing his name a bit last season

Not trying to spoil the fun. But if Brad is near band 1, it's only going to be line ball. The backlash of getting lucky with GWS' shitness and band 1 being pick 2 makes me think anything not a clear band 1 offer will end up band 2. It's such a politicised organisation that's sh*t scared of negative Victorian press.
Yea I don't see, Brad in the top 5%, even with his additional 10 pionts due to Age

Starts the season at 28, coming off a horrible year but has been good in the past.

I think a late first round pick, 15-20
Geelong will make a play for him given they have a few mid to late 1st rounders which will mean Jenkins might have only played 1 game for Geelong.
