Is this “We Are Port Adelaide” facebook page actually legit and affiliated with or run by the club itself?

If so... surely publically calling the AFL organisation that actually funds you “corrupt” would have to raise some eyebrows in AFL house..

I don't believe so. Pretty sure it's fan run like the Adelaide Crows Pride one that we have.

Turned out to be a fantastic recruit by Port (for us Crows fans to criticize). Apparently him, Motflop and Watts were the missing pieces.

Rockliff and Watts loved the coke and Motflop loved the cakes.

Maybe Brad would be a good fit for Port, can supply the coke.

actually Rockliff was a talented player and he’s played some good games for port after his first uneventful year here.

We have been in the AFL longer then they have, played more Finals and won more Grand Finals than they have.

Not to mention, we are the only team in the history of the game to have played 5 consecutive away games to win a flag across Australia (WA,NSW,Vic).

Schofield is definitely the brains behind the resurgence. We (WCE) fans were really hoping to get him to replace Mitchell after 2018... was disappointed he went to Poort as I knew he would improve them. Glad he didn’t get the Fremantle job, although they have a solid younger coach now.

Hope Kern gets that extension signed ASAP...

Finishing first and not making it to the GF is a choke. List is aged like my wine, 30+ years.

When we lost the GF I never ventured onto here, but I assume they were talking crap for month's.

Yet to be proven as real premiership contenders in a normal season, they wouldn't have finish top 4 in a normal season so they weren't seen as premiership favourite despite staying top all season, should have lost to Geelong in the 1st final and played West Coast who should have also beaten Collingwood so likely chance of them going out in straight sets.

I think Port are likely to finish in the top 4 again next year.

Who will rise up the ladder to displace them?

That entirely depends on there older players, if they put in a good year like this year then yea, but this is the first time in 5 years all there senior players played well and were injury-free, will that happen next year.
Also, Saints, West Coast, Giants, have the capabilities to be top 4 teams along with Richmond Brisbane, Geelong, could even throw in the Dogs. As for top 8 then add Carlton, GC, Melb, all in the picture, at this time.

For the first time I saw the can of coke thrown at Lynch on Fox Sports.

While it may have been a kid, it is a reflection IMO of the upbringing of that child in dealing when things dont go your way.

The kid and the parent/guardian hopefully both get banned and this is not swept under the Alberton rug.

Ebert need to take on most of the responsibly for any issue he has in later life as well, A person cannot always blame the club and the AFL when the has a choice of playing or not playing, at the end of the day they do not force you to cross that line,
