Like most posters here, I appreciate a good Port troll post. However, this does not bode well for SANFL / South Australia.

Most SANFL fans are extremely happy about this. I suspect they will change their tune once the Crows do not pay the $400k pa which was a significant factor in keeping their clubs alive, and even more so in a pandemic. Every club is struggling to stay solvent.

There was a legendary Backfire thread on the main board at the time. The week before, in the Showdown, we got out to a c. 5 goal lead, and Port rolled over us to win. Port poster on the main board started a thread wondering (IIRC) how much they would let the Suns get in front, before they beat them.

End result was Port got out to a 5 goal lead, and lost. Hilarity ensued.

Before my time on this board but i have just skimmed it..funniest shit i have read for a long time..especially all the other clubs posters piling in to rub it in and it was pages of ripping port before a port supporter dared show their head back on the thread
