QLD is sending down 200 nurses and our Deputy Chief Medical Officer. We all want to help this get better.

SA Health sent a stack of clinical staff today.

LMH closed the COVID clinic so I gather many of these staff may now be over the boarder.

I don't know why they wouldn't accept either Geelong or Collingwood for example after they have spent 3 weeks in Perth. Stop here for 2 weeks on the way home.

But I'm just guessing now, I haven't really been following all the changes around interstate travel

Insured with them for over 30 years and when we had a fire go through our then 40 acre property in Queensland in the the early 2000's which resulted in losing all our fencing, pumps etc they'd only pay 50 cents on the dollar. The really galling thing with the fencing was we had full round redgum posts and they'd only replace them them with split posts and the cheapest hinge joint you could buy.

Then to cap it all off we get a letter in the mail a couple of weeks later telling us they would no longer insure us.

I too had a bad experience with AAMI.

They have lost plenty as I took all of my business to the RAA.

Been with QBE for 15 or so years and they paid out immediately with travel claim and dealt with house (neighbour across the road reversed his car into my house - put his foot on the accelerator rather than the brake when reversing and nearly took out a wine fridge in the process!) and car claims promptly.

Took our money for over a decade on that particular Queensland property without a single claim and then gave us an unbelievably hard time to get any recompense for a legitimate claim and then dropped us like a rock straight after. And that was the case with all the other property owners in our street that also had the misfortune to have their insurance with them.

I must say that I find it amusing that Sidebum was picked up naked in a divy van and taken home.

On the flip side you can just imagine all the garbage 'culture problems' would have been headlining the articles if it was an Adelaide player

Same, for over a decade... & my claim was minor compared to what I had paid. Shocking customer service.

Cops do drive people home if they appear to be drunk and struggling to walk straight, know it from first hand experience. They’re usually pretty accommodating if you aren’t aggressive and clearly look like you have no idea where you are.
