They start most years well and then injuries hit and they implode. This year they’ve grabbed some handy players. I haven’t watched any, how has Greenwood gone?

I put money on Gold Coast covering the line, was going to go for the win

Greenwood one of their best players. Been excellent playing a pure roving midfield role.

Looks quicker than he was with us, and having no issues getting around the ground

Geelong haven't got out of neutral

I only watched a bit but Greenwood was playing very well, having said that Geelong were utter filth and I could have managed a kick or two.

Probably looks quicker when he has quicker midfielders around.

If the Lions rest a few players today, I expect Port to win today and be outright Premiership favs heading into March. :drunk:
That is a guarantee,
Also, believe Port will be playing for the win Brisbane will be trailing players, Port need to start this year with some good news, Losing will not help them almost a given Kochie has informed Hinkley he needs to play to win.

+1

Port are about a year behind their rebuild compared to us. I expect a new coach at Alberton before the end of the year.

If I knew their draw, I probably will tell you which round Ken will be sacked. :p

As I said before, Port beating the Suns at Metricon is no lock for R1. Port fans could be baying for blood by the end of R1.

It's amazing relief to not have Rucci banging on about everybody wishing they barracked for Port because they're surely premiership contenders. Since Port failing outstandingly from halfway through 2014, it's been incessant bullshit, impossible to dodge. Praise be!

Where is he these days? Does he still do it that drive show for SEN Adelaide that no one listens to?

Just found Port's draw for the first 11 games.

Not inconceivable for them to win 4 or less games in the first 11 games. If they dont win their first 3 games of the year, Ken could be left in China.

I remember seeing him lineup to collect some Nandos last year. Wanted to take a photo of him driving off, I thought though let him eat in peace. lol.

Not looking at the Lions squad named if they line up as published....that's just about their A Squad. Hardly any new faces for either team

Lions apparently will only play some players for half a game. Expectation is that Ken will treat this like a final. :drunk:

Gold Coast looked very good. Don’t know if they will finish last.

Rowell is a jet. Anderson too. Add in King, Rankine, Lukosius, Sharp, Bowes, Brodie, Ainsworth, Fiorini, Weller, Lemmens, Wright, Flanders and I cant help but that that’s a premiership waiting to happen.

They've done nothing but add talent. Lost no one of importance, added two quality mature players in Ellis and Greenwood then destroyed the draft.

They also got a full year of development out of last year's draftees.

I think they will struggle in the back end of the season but they are building nicely

They've started the last couple seasons well too, just fallen away as it went on. King looks a jet.

If they can keep a hold of their list together and continue to add holes in their list during the off season, they can win a flag within 6 years.

That's what the AFL engineered. Might finally be working this time.
