I've said this before, they need to get rid of their fitness staff. The amount of injuries they get every year cannot be bad luck.

Often in recent years Port would often get complacent after a showdown win and just not be themselves the following weeks. They have now recorded 2 solid wins on the Gold Coast to remain the only undefeated team on the Gold Coast 8-0. Wets Coast were horrible, looked totally unmotivated. Cannot see them even making the 8 now. They must miss playing in Perth and getting their almost certain wins at Adelaide Oval.

He's the biggest impediment IMO

My 3yo could coach GWS to a win.

I think their biggest problem will be having a team of kids who were effectively all probably high school heroes, best of the best, and ultimately don't know what to do when shit goes wrong. I can't help but think they aren't like other clubs who are filled with late pick up against it types.

Their recruitment of experienced quality types has minimised it, but the core group is there. GC just never had the right experience types imo (thanks to location attracting dickheads)

Not sure what happened to the Eagles after they got within 9 points, completely reverted back to their first half sh*t. They have a top 4 midfield, but they’re playing like a bottom 4 midfield, definitely the most disappointing team so far this season.

Apparently they're not a tight knit group at all and being in each other's pockets 24/7 in the QLD hub is starting to cause a bit of friction amongst them.

That will happen in two weeks when we play them.

Just on Richmond, how much does them having a massive crowd behind them help them when they play at the G? Next weeks game between Richmond vs West Coast, whoever loses is done for the year.

And another thing if Port were to win the flag (but early to call but you never know) I would expect a lot of retirements - Boak, Gray, Westoff etc.
