They've been in four grand finals in the last 10 years, winning one, drawing one, losing two - one by less than a kick.
They are constantly at the pointy end and don't sack coaches for fun.

I always assumed you were a Pear Troll, perhaps I had the wrong Black and White.

Despite enormous advantages (rarely travel, GF on their home ground, top up player payments by permanent gigs on the footy show etc) Collingwood have won ONE FLAG in the AFL era (I believe the AFL era started in 1991 when all three footy states were involved).

The most successful club in the AFL era has undoubtably been Hawthorn with West Coast and Geelong fighting out for the silver. Richmond are rising up the ranks but had 20 years of crap and Sydney have played in a lot of finals but have only won two flags, the same as us. I discount Brisbane because their three peat was based on ridiculous concessions and they then had 15 years of crap.

I just don’t think we threw him under the bus though, we kept it hidden from the media for a week so the entire playing group knew before the public did. The only thing said to the public was that we don’t condone drink driving, nothing was said about his character. I’m just not sure how we were meant to stick up for him in a public forum, especially when we are also part of a road safety campaign.

Are you questioning the 4 week suspension? Maybe could’ve been two, but given the timing with the Hunter incident the club would’ve been blasted if we were more lenient.

Can see him moving on after his contract is up, because Carlton will have younger players deserving more.
