I would rather have Charlie

Seems Brisbane life with less of a fish bowl suits Cameron and is playing much better and consistent football.I would rather have Charlie
Say what you want about him. But Bevo see’s him in our best 22 when fit and rotates through one of the best midfields in the league.Jong LOL
But also cant get Fog without losing Cameron so not all bad
Me too
When he left you can really notice the value of a dynamic forward like him. Even deGoey last night showed the same for the Pies. Worth their weight in gold
It was clear Charlie gave the forward line something quite similar to Eddie but in the beginning stages of his career as opposed to the latter stages.
How they did not ensure he stay is beyond me.

He was good at the Crows but I didn't see him reaching this level.Part of it is natural maturity of a player too though I reckon
The biggest problem IMO is we rewarded Betts for his efforts in his early years with the contract extension, when instead we should have let it play out and paid the extra to keep Cameron.

It was reported his partner wanted to move back to Brisbane and Cameron did studied there so it wasn't able money but he will be now getting a lot more from Brisbane. The biggest problem IMO is we rewarded Betts for his efforts in his early years with the contract extension, when instead we should have let it play out and paid the extra to keep Cameron.
I thought he would be a very good player up there with one of the best small forward currently in the AFL but not this elite where he is trending in the Betts like career and possibly beyond him.I did...he always had that nebulous “it” factor to me.
Of course I thought Lever would be better than he has been so far too.
We could have had both if we didn’t trade for Gibbs. Use pick 10 on Fog and keep Cameron. But also cant get Fog without losing Cameron so not all bad
I keep reading about Gary Ablett and his son having a rare degenerative disorder. Can anyone tell me what it actually is?
I feel as though if it were a minor player on another list the footy community would hear nothing about it.
After their Grand Final smashing, they were looking at redemption this year but then this compromised season occurred....playing group mind not in this season evident by those early losses and now in a down patch.Gee, GWS are flirting with form... most overrated side in the comp.
There's always a string of reasons why our guys can't possibly have played any more than they didAnd up until 2018 we had a Ruckman in Sam Jacobs that was in the top 3 or 4 ruckmen in the AFL....The Bulldogs had?
The last half decent Ruck they had was Will Minson about 5 or 6 years ago, since then they've had a mix of "part timers" Jordan Roughead (KPD/KPF/Ruck), Jackson Trengove (KPD/Ruck) and Tom Boyd (KPF/Ruck) until Tim English came along....see the difference?
Every possibility English still wouldn't have got a shot if Tom Boyd didn't exit the stage.
