Poor old Port 😝

One poster starts off “I never blame the umpires..” and then goes on to do exactly that

Meanwhile Ford Fiesta gets all nostalgic about what Fos would have done and Jack would have done

As if those teams have anything to do with this current franchise
Well they do have the same name....
The same jumper....
The same song.....

List of top 8 teams that Port Adelaide have beaten in 2020:

Gold Coast (8th)

Nice, but they have beaten the Eagles and Giants who we know have a heap of quality and currently sit *just* outside the 8, plus the Blues who are on the improve.

Port are no competition dominator this year but they’re good.

Ironically the week after St Kilda get an apology from Gil about umpiring they get reamed
It was pretty woeful

Granted the start of 3rd qtr cost them too all that momentum for zilch , saints got the rebound goal
Poor coaching not having a third wheel putting hard contact in on Steele when he was in Boaks back pocket all night

Duursma should’ve gone on ball

Westhoff looks cooked, 1 year too long it would seem, shocked he was the in would’ve been better off with Watts!

Saw that Kane Cornes was whinging that up to Round 12 that they will have only played 4 games at home.

The last 5 games they will get probably 3 at home for a total of 7 for the year. Given a couple home games were allocated in the hub, what point is he trying to make? 50% of 17 is 8.5 say 9. Seems about right and they hosted the Showdown. Betcha they wished held it now in front of their fans.

We have played 3 so far inc today (4 if you include the Showdown but it was an away game) with another 2 to come to round 12 so we will probably get another two in the final five games for total of 7 + Showdown.

I think they’ll come back to the pack but clearly they’re one of the better teams.

They’re nowhere near as bad as we (well, I) wish they were but they’ve got an insufferable cheer squad in the media that pump them up beyond belief. “Imagine having the depth to drop Justin Westhoff, they’re flying”. 🤪

Window dressing a loss. He went with “The Lions are the team to beat FOR NOW” after The Power made him look silly earlier in the year.

There are fewer more pointless things than whinging about home games in 2020*.

Great game to watch. Saints recruited well and have a really good coach.
My only concern was the lack of social distancing in a lot of bays.
It looked like empty top bays, some bays socially spaced but plenty of bays absolutely packed with no social distancing.
Weddings and funerals no more than 100 people, shoulder to shoulder at the port powers game?

They've done well. Jones and Butler were practically free and are influencing games. And have 5 years of footy left in them.
Jones became Elijah Taylor and a third round pick for Sydney.

It's really not, the only quality draftee I could possibly see us wanting that's not likely available to us if we retain Pick 1 is Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and about the only other spoken for player I could see us interested in with our 2nd pick as it stands currently would be Swans Academy player Braeden Campbell
Thanks for clarifying.

Looking at Campbell's highlights (I know, I know), he looks an exceptional talent.

Where do you see him being bid on? Top 6 or 7?

You don't have to social distance if you're all related

Oh shoosh! Let’s just stick to the verifiable facts. They have only currently beaten ONE team in the eight. Gold Coast (who are eighth). 🤣
