Oh my god just heard the dukes of hazard theme song while searching Netflix. Overcome with emotion, anyone else remember that tune?

Well I was critical of our crowd for Monday night. Yesterday seemed a lot better, but still only 15,155. I hope the performance brings people back, and I think the mood in the crowd was generally a positive one.
However, looking at old mate down the road. Top of the table, Saturday night prime time. Perfect winter weather. First game back with a meaningul crowd and only 16,727.
I was sure they would get north of 20k.
Bit hard to get north of 20k when its capped at 20k.Well I was critical of our crowd for Monday night. Yesterday seemed a lot better, but still only 15,155. I hope the performance brings people back, and I think the mood in the crowd was generally a positive one.

So what will Caro's take on this be? And again, imagine if it was the Crows....

Explosive claim Hawks cheated salary cap
Hawthorn great Don Scott has made a remarkable claim about how his former club systematically cheated the salary cap during their golden era.www.news.com.au
Has KT been caught out in a lie?
He said on AA 90% of members retained their membership. 1970crow applauded KT on his honesty compared to Fagan who was vague on retention of memberships.
Yet Saturday night, top of the table, perfect July weather and an easy win on the cards they got less than the 20k capacity.
You would think the retained membership KT claimed would be more than 20k capacity.
16k crowd proof he lied about that claim?

He made the figure up. He lied. At least Fagan didn't lie to the extent of making up a figure. In your post you chastised Fagan for hiding something. Maybe he did, or he just didn't know an exact figure.I don't think I applauded him for his honesty. I think I questioned how they were prepared to disclose a had a figure but we had only a vague idea. Even then, I'm not convinced how their crowd has any bearing on my comment.

KT made a figure up, most likely on the spot.
Maybe 40k ticketed members pre COVID.
90 percent of that 36k.
Just under 17k there Saturday night, capped capacity 20k.
Are we to believe that 19,000 members who could have got a ticket didn't want to.
Or, and more likely, far more than members got a refund than KT said.

1. Members/season ticket holders are two different things. Are we to believe that 19,000 members who could have got a ticket didn't want to.
This. You can't say one plus one is two ignoring the bigger picture. You don't know that he lied. You're making an assumption based upon an attendance figure for a singular game. Apparently west coast had low crowds as well. It's not apples and apples these days. Jumping from a lowish crowd to the CEO lying is a fair effort. You have NFI as to the expected correlation between pledgers and crowds in this season.

Which vulnerable person in their right mind will go to a packed stadium?
People have adjusted to life without going to football....
