1. Members/season ticket holders are two different things.

2. Don't underestimate the numbers of people who won't go to the footy this season regardless what authorities deem 'safe'

I said ticketed members.

That game would have been mid 40s in a normal season. Nudging 50k.

Every Port member I know got a ticket.

If the ballot pool was mid 30 thousand, as KT claims, a lot of people would have missed out. Looking at your board here pretty much everyone who applied for a ticket got one.

You don't know that he lied. You're making an assumption based upon an attendance figure for a singular game. Apparently west coast had low crowds as well. It's not apples and apples these days. Jumping from a lowish crowd to the CEO lying is a fair effort. You have NFI as to the expected correlation between pledgers and crowds in this season.

My point here is, let's not paint KT as the master CEO. Most Tealsters want him gone, look at the thread down there. He sells a good message, but the substance is little.

It's simplistic hatred. It's a weird take. I'd argue a bad crowd ahead of CEO furphying pledging numbers. If I was feeling a little provocative, I might even suggest that Port supporters are used to switching off around August, knowing that nearly all the wins for the season are already in the bank. And it's cold.

Seriougly though, very odd joining of dots from Geoffa32. And why he recalled an innocent post of mine weeks ago. He might be my new jack is a moron and back. But he's actually not an insufferable megalomaniac, so he's not quite the other dickwad. Just needing some relative positivity against our cousins down the road.

No I don't. It's not a normal season. The habitual nature of turning up to your seats has been removed. There's an extra leg in the process. You're clutching at straws. It really is odd. A poor crowd for Port late in July is very normal.

At best mid 40s if Port was experiencing sustained success and not torn on the coach. And even mid 40s is very much upper end. Realistically it's 35-40k in a good season.

Grand Final in WA....other supporter (especially those supporting Victoria clubs) meh and have already switch off this season.

Imo, the grand final should be held in the same state as the highest ranking team after the minor round from WA, SA or Queensland... assuming neither NSW or Victoria are under control.

I don't think you can be critical of people staying away from large crowds at the moment

Particularly the elderly

Imo, the grand final should be held in the same state as the highest ranking team after the minor round from WA, SA or Queensland... assuming neither NSW or Victoria are under control.

That would be stupid, thats rewarding the highest placed deserving team of a home final.

The VFL needs to ensure there is a Victorian fairytale on a regular basis. Preferably, yearly.
