Haven’t read his spuma and happy not to be consuming AFL media but it sounds like a re-hash of Muppetangelo’s deranged ramblings from a few years ago.
Has anyone seen Kane and Rucc in the same room together or is Rucc doing Kane’s homework for him because work is too hard for Kane?

Does he realise Port have not won a Final since 2014 and since 2004 they have only finished better than 8th three times?

Port people like Kano seem.to have this belief they are a good club. When the long term trend suggests they are borderline rubbish.

He is talking as if Port are in the middle of a dynasty that stems back to their supporters being tough with them by not attending games in the Primus years and demanding change.

The reality is they jagged a couple of Finals wins in 2013/14 and have been marginally better than the Primus years since.

Goodwin should go from Melbourne. I think that 2018 Prelim looks more a fluke than anything.

D’s had been ok. Only one bad loss in their previous 5. Aside from that they were 2 wins and 2 losses both less than a goal to Geelong and Brisbane.

It was a good win by Port especially as they had some outs. Their kids are whole different level to ours

Personally, it’s just another dig from an intellectual minnow playing the only card in his deck. I think he’s actually more concerned that most Crows supporters aren’t hysterically melting in the way he’d like us to be.

We’ve made significant changes and will make more at the end of this season. I think most understand that there will be incremental improvement before we see anything astonishing and we’re on board with that. We’ll give it and then some time to turn it around before demanding “a return to finals”.

Hopefully the next time we get there we’ve rebuilt the list and club to be more than making up the numbers.

To me, the biggest difference between Crows and Power supporters is their ability to have either the longest or shortest memories in football depending on how they’re travelling at the time. If they’re down the bottom it’s all “3 Million SANFL Premierships, most successful club in history”. Then when they briefly bounce back up to being good enough to lose a prelim or get smoked in a Grand Final they instantly forget the time they’ve spent down to bottom and start talking down to rest of the competition like they’ve been on top for the past decade.

Is he seriously that devoid of a life that he’s going back through Tweets from 4 days ago to try and make his point about that ridiculous article he wrote yesterday?

This. Doesn't matter what we do, he'd paint it wrong. Desert the club like his "true fans" did and he'd be all over it. Stick to the club like real supporters and that's wrong too.

I think you'll find none of us are taking much out of that at all (bar excitement about Georgiadis).

Last night was all about how bad the Dees were.

The next 3 weeks will say where we are at.

Win 2 or 3 we are a genuine threat.

0 or 1 and we are pretenders.

I agree their kids are much more talented than ours. I think it will be worth revisiting in a few years. Port have a huge turnover of players ahead. Even just looking at last night's team Jonas, Westhoff, Ebert, Gray, Boak, Dixon, Rockliff and Hartlett are over 30 and could be finished by the end of next year. That's eight players.

For some kids they step up where as other struggle when they become the core of the team.

That happens when they log out. On a Hawthorn game a few weeks ago they started getting flogged. By half time 3 of the screens had Hawk logo's. By 3 quarter time another couple of screens had empty couches with scarf's and beanies discarded and nothing else. Everyone had left the room.

Was pretty funny tbh
