For the record, last year we voted for a Top 8 of:
Collingwood
WCE
Richmond

Adelaide
GWS
Melb
Geel
Ess

So our prediction thread has gone:
2019: 6 of 8
2018: 5 of 8
2017: 6 of 8
2016: 5 of 8

So going by that trend, we're likely to pick at least 2 sides that will fail to make the 8, but more likely 3.

We did a bit better predicting the Tigers to make the finals and win it than we did with WC in 2018. And a few picked the Tigers for the flag.

A fair few of us picked Boak to win the B&F.

Despite a few good predictions in 2019, the clear winner was Willsy10 who nailed a stack of predictions, he had a very solid top 4, the premier, the brownlow, the B&F, the rising stars and the most improved. Please Willsy if you'd like to share any lotto numbers with us too that'd be great.

I'd forgotten completely about this.

I think they were fairly conservative predictions but worked out pretty good.

I completely underrated Brisbane and overrated the Crows though.

That's a lot of people tipping us. Wouldve expected far lower.

Geelong getting less than half is very interesting considering they finished top last year. That said, I don't disagree.

Tim Kelly going, aging stars, and a side that faded toward the end of the year, I see the concerns. Something about them screams "Slider"

Reasonably confident of the top 7 and bottom 5 placings.

8th place will logjam and could be either North, BL, Melb or Port. I think North have the softer draw out of those teams and will scrape in.

People have been saying this about Geelong for a decade, in fact I remember saying this about them myself more than once. They continuously make it in to the 8 though, with a massive home ground advantage for 6 games and a game style that does very well in H&A.

They just can't play finals.

This, I have to say, is very unrealistic.
