We can't get Saad to leave * or ignore Carlton despite offering him $200k/yr more and a night with a buxom wench (Dave Loader).

How on earth we'd appeal to a topline mid with proper suitors.. god knows.

Not to mention Taranto would cost pick 2 or the Melbourne pick plus next years first.

I doubt we even enquire, he's in our window financially but out of our window via intent.

I think we have to accept that our chances of getting any decent FA's over the next couple of years at least will be extremely difficult.

Given that the system is set up to strengthen successful clubs or clubs on the verge of/moving toward success, trying to sell a rebuild to a good FA will be almost impossible. I know FA wasn't set up with that in mind, but that's how it's turned out. The rich get richer.

Our VFL team is locked in for 2021.

North Melbourne will retain its VFL and VFLW programs in 2021.

The VFL will form part of the new look VFL/East Coast competition, while the VFLW will be part of the existing VFLW competition.
North GM football Brady Rawlings said it came down to the clubs plan for future success.

“It’s been a very tough year for everyone, which includes our football community,” Rawlings told North Media.

“We were facing some very tough decisions due to the financial impacts of COVID-19 but we’re extremely pleased to be retaining our VFL and VFLW programs.

“We’ve made it very clear about our strategic direction for on-field success and having a second-tier competition ensures we can continue to develop our talent and build continuity.

“We’re pleased we can field both teams next year under the guidance of our coaching group.”

The problem with FA’s is that one guy out of 18 isn’t going to make an enormous difference on field. You’d need 3-4 quality FA’s to make immediate impact. Ie when we bought Davis, Wade and Rantall.

Dress a mens player in a nice dress and flirt with him? Send a bigfooty person to seduce him?

Interesting comment by Garry on SEN - said he made calls to the club last night and he was told that when the club is finished with what it is doing, a senior administrator will come on in due course.

Hopefully more real than the white knights

Thought Brady was shorter

Wouldn't it be great if someone put together a list of claims made by idiots such as Caro, Damo, Mitch and co, then call out all the nonsense they wrote over the years and have been wrong about, might make them just a little weary of posting crap.
Oh who am i kidding they will just keep posting it stating "my reliable source, which i don't wish to disclose."

Real journalists use that to protect their sources.

Footy “journalists” use it to hide their made up lies.

That news about our VFL team is massive. I can’t stress enough how important, particularly now at where we are at in regards to our list how important it will be to develop our young boys who aren’t yet ready for senior afl game time. We can develop them in positions we want them to play at afl level and we can develop them playing our game plan. Our game plan will be a club game plan. This also means when someone unfortunately gets injured at senior level, we have someone ready waiting in the wings who knows exactly what role he has to play. Best news I’ve got in weeks

Someone in the family is having a lend here lol
That dickhead will report and believe anything.

Can you get someone in the family to tell him that in year 4 Carlton have also offered him a goat subject to certain performance based KPIs?

Best news by far this off-season.
