This year?Watching the Chargers vs the Knights NAB League game currently, the Dogs are in line to get another top 5 pick in Sam Darcy F/S, 204cm KPP/Ruck and looks a gun in the making, overhead marking and kicking a feature of his game.
YepThis year?

Fantastic
Can't agree with your assessment of Roberts at all.
He's a better kick than any midfielder currently on our list, can win his own ball inside the contest and is equally adept outside the contest offering run and carry along with the link up option....and most importantly he's a goal kicking midfielder. I really can't pick any weaknesses in his game unless you think I'm missing something? And that piercing, penetrating left boot is a thing of beauty.

Wow. BIG call.Top 5 for me
26 and 37 starts to get a bit too low for the WBs pick. They're the ones that will have to trade for points (Collingwood as well, I guess, but I'm not sure how we get in on that).I don't think our current picks of 26 and 37 will get us a pick in the teens.
The other local option is Roberts but I think he offers pretty much what we already have in the midfield.
I think Draper is a midfielder and would offer a point of difference to what we already have.
I am a bit bias to SA lads but there are probably plenty of good Victorian kids that we could also look at.
Just watching the first half of Glenelg v Eagles U118's. PA are going to get a star in Jase Burgoyne. Put that on top Jones last year.
I particularly liked his performance in Les Miserables.I’m a big Hugh Jackson fan. Reads the play very well, bursts from stoppage and has a good leg. Exactly what we need.
I went to uni with Hugh Jackman. Was a very popular target for both genders, though they didn't get far.I particularly liked his performance in Les Miserables.
Roberts is 183/4.I think he is a very good player and agree with your assessment but I think he plays similar to Pedlar and Berry.
I'd just prefer to see a taller midfielder compared to all the 180cm midfielders we already have, like Laird, Sloane, Crouch
Yeah but where does he play at AFL level, not going to be allowed to run around like an unregistered dog in defence at AFL level where he'll have to be accountable for his opponent (clever small forwards). I just wish they'd give him exposure in the small forward role.Blayne with a casual 14 touches barely a minute into the second quarter.
Sonsie with a leg injury today.
Hugh jackson finished with 32 touches and three goals. A very impressive midfielder who hopefully we are looking at. I think hes going to be a 1st round pick . Finds the ball with ease, explosive at stoppages, hits the scoreboard and skills reasonably good.
A bit surprised he's not getting a look in the north reserves at least.
