WA a class above with team play.
SA has some good talls, with good marking.
The most glaring difference is WA cleanly handballing to a teammate in space, while SA handball straight to the oppo or noone!

Who is No. 15 for SA: he looks tidy.

Both correct

Roberts goes to ground far too easy , not a dominant inside player either and will struggle for speed on the outside
Now guys ....inc Mutineer ..."This is what I'm talking about" !!

Roberts talked up as a Top 10 player what just 3 months ago .....God knows how great he was predicted 12 months ago (sarcasm)

These weakness's .....why are they only being discussed now ...why not 6 months ago when "everyone" on the Crows Board wanted him at #4

Just makes a mockery of talent spotting so far out ......you only have to watch 3 months out and only watch a couple of games !

The IQ is the biggest strength with Roberts, knows how to do the little things well, and can still kick with pinpoint accuracy. Also has that ability to go forward, too

Just would like to see more dominance in one particular part of the ground

So did Grigg

Probably a fair comparison TBH from what I've seen. Grigg probably didn't do himself any favours in the end with his preparation etc.

I quite like him as a footballer, but I think he struggles for opportunities with us. If he's there later, you'd probably bite.

Better drilled = Better coaching...bring back Brenton Phillips I say.

BTW Burgoyne will play AFL ....has some great footy attributes if you study hard

No softer than NWM

I understand it's TV .....but seeing early season Roberts, and late season Roberts .....he has "chunked" up

Now in all probability that's due to the injury layoff too

Because no one had watched him play

Ronny Fejo Jr>>>
Different players Bicks ....really like Fejo, but Burgoyne has great footy IQ, his positioning is first class ...and he holds his feet really well in contests

How can Roberts be raved about as a Top 10, if no-one saw him play ?? ......He'll probably go early 2nd round I'm guessing

I just see a bit of a plodder with no real weapons. Not sure he has an impact at AFL level and wouldn't be surprised if he slides a lot on draft night.
I’m doubting he gets picked in first 2 rounds and certainly isn’t what we are after

Contests LOL He's more outside the contest than NWV.

I still like Ferres, maybe not for us as we have Gollant but he has a great set of sticky hands

Think he has a future as a marking 3rd tall type

**** knows how they do judge FA compensation.

Originally we were told that it would be calculated on the net loss of players. Then they started handing out the compensation picks as soon as players were signed, with those picks being instantly tradeable. I have no clue how they could retrospectively cancel FA compensation picks which have already been traded - but this is the AFL we're talking about.

All credit to Roberts - much better quarter

hard running on outside
For me he’s more a lachie hunter type to play on the wing than inside

but doesn’t suit us , wouldn’t have him
