Rendell was saying today he is now hearing GC will take Callaghan. He thinks Adelaide should trade up for GC's pick, take Callaghan.

Then if Callaghan and Horne-Francis want to each go home we could swap them 🤣
You mean trade up for the gws pick. Their tall will be there at pick 4. If gc are taking Callaghan they aren't trading the pick to us so that we can take him. Rendell is cooked though so what he says changes every day.

Then we'll go with Hobbs or trade back with Richmond to get Goater with 7

I am really keen on Callaghan. Would try to trade with GWS for #2 to get him and at #4 they can still get Andrews and more trade currency.

They may not be willing to entertain any trade with us given what happened with Hately last year.

alternatively there is always option of trading with Richmond for 7 and 15 and get someone like Goater and Wnaganeen-Milera.

Having said all that, I think we stay put and possibly select Hobbs as a Rory Sloane replacement.

IMO Rachele already has a mature body, with limited upside ......take your Mid, which is where we need to add more class ....and take a player like Fejo, who has more tricks, more speed, and more upside ...with a later pick

Geez he’s got a beautiful kick and a magical side-step 👏. Haven’t heard of him before do good watchers think he’s got what it takes to step up to AFL?

Love to get wanganeen Milera has touches of Michael oloughlin about him. He is such a smooth mover and lovely user of the ball. His use of the ball is elite. The sort of player that could make our forwards look so much better. Has good pace and like all good players he has the impressive commodity time

If we liked him enough we could do a deal with hawthorn and some other clubs to change draft order and get another first rounder.

Reading all these write ups you’d want to have about 5 picks in the top 15, but clearly not all will turn out

George I think the draft is strong till about 15-20 and then it is a bit of a lottery

I see wanganeen Milera as our second best local player. More than that I see him as a match winner. I think he will be a superstar. I may be wrong but I’ve just got a feeling about this guy

You and me both, he's been my favoured one with one of our picks from a long way out, and a Vic Metro lad from the working class suburb Sunbury not a private school boy from an affluent inner city beachside side suburb.;)

It’s a tough call though. Ben Hobbs will not let us down and will be loyal and works so hard on his game. He would be a 10 year player for us and be a possible captain into the future. I am glad I don’t have to make this call on what to do with our first round pick. That is why you don’t give them away or waste them

I love Fejo, he is as smooth as they come but Rachele over him any day and I'd imagine I've got Fejo higher than 99% of draft watchers on my board atm.

I'm all about Big Mac Andrew. He's a bloke I'm going to enjoy watching develop and see what he can become. For the Crows though I'd be stoked with Goater and NWM. If it's not JHF at one then I'd be keen to split picks if possible!

More and more confident that on draft night if either Andrew or Callaghan are available at our pick we are going to get some huge live trade offers , so I can see the value now in taking pick 4 to the draft

can put us in a spot for possibly 2 of Erasmus Goater Sonsie Rachele and Draper

this is my preferred option

I just think we’ve already got our 2 Ben Hobbs on our list and in particular Luke Pedlar

there are other great point of difference players in this draft we can concentrate on eg Erasmus ( overhead marking ) , Goater ( speed / Power / versatility) , Draper ( speed/ versatility) , Rachele ( power , creative ) , Sonsie ( versatility , footy iQ)

Want deal for Dawson to happen today as Sydney must realise that no better offer coming ,so Crows can do a deal with Richmond for 7 and 15 and recruit Goater and Draper along with a small forward with 33 or whatever it might become if Richmond want bit more in the trade.
The get a speculative tall with last pick in main draft or rookie draft, as have to think at least one of Frampton and Himmelberg won't be around in 2023.

Wouldn't want to drop past Richmond's pick.
Leaves Hawthorn, Freo and Richmond to neg with and they all have late 1sts or early 2nds.and have been link or look likely to be linked to a certain player.
Unfortunately I can't see us getting a high enough 2nd pick to get the likes of Draper

I think we will end up with 3 selections and ideally 4 in the main draft

1. Erasmus, Goater, Callaghan
2. Sinn, Chesser, Taylor, Butler
3. Clarke, Murley, Curtis etc
4. Fejo

If we go for Ward, Hobbs or Rachele with our 1st then
2. Howes or Knevitt
3. Clarke, Murley, Curtis
4. Fejo

Wouldn't melt if they took Mac but would if they took Gibcus.

Dawson PSD leaves us 2 x 1sts next year to trade in who ever we like.

I would be disappointed if Davis and O'Connor are still on our list draft night.
