You’ll never have me buy that Adam Pattison would haveWell said mate. Him and Danny Meyer especially if drafted to the tiges now would have flourished. Super talents!
More than happy to do this, also not a fan of using any of our 3 picks we'll likely use next yr.I’d be holding on our picks. Don’t sell the farm for 1 early pick

"Long is a tough player"
Gotta be pretty tough to be a premiership ruck at Griggs size
Just saw this trade suggestion on the Freo board and thought it had merit for us and GWS. Thoughts?
Rubbish.Carlton are always the big players come Draft Night.(Thats where it ends).Three picks in a row is very tantalizing.
I think we paid overs for Pick 27, but looking at next year, we may only take 3 selections (our first, North second and our second) so fair enough although, that pick is a good asset for future trading. Not totally happy or unhappy, but now can look forward to draft night with us being the big players.
Run away from the contest doesn't take much
There always the FA option for that "Xtra pick".Why would we only take 3 picks next year though?
Think its fair to say this will be Cotch's last year.It says to me we are not expecting a raft of retirements post-2022. So I think Jroo, Cotch and Edwards have probably indicated they’d like to play at least 2 more seasons.
If that’s the case, then at this very early stage there are not many obvious delistings post-2022 ….Aarts and Parker perhaps ? Then maybe Caddy. (Castagna is contracted for 2023).

Yep if the player(s) we want @7 are gone and i'd say its Callahan/Ward & Hobbs on our list then i'm more than happy for the Hawks/Stk etc to come knocking.I really hope we aren't looking to move up the draft now we have 5 picks inside the top 30.
If the player we want at 7 isn't there as someone else has mentioned then we should definitely look at trading it for a 1st rounder next year and just taking our remaining 4 picks into this year's draft.
We could potentially trade both 1st rounders next year for King if he looks to be coming home.
Wishful thinking, Heeney. There always the FA option for that "Xtra pick".

Heard awhile back that we were very keen on Fahey.Have heard in a few different places that were very interested in bidding for GWS academy prospect Josh Fahey. Also side note, Fahey is close mate of GWS Tom Green.
I wouldn’t be surprised with pick 15 we placed a bid on him. Not certain if GWS have the points or ability to match at that pick? Do they need more picks for points? GWS have apparently been incredibly high on Fahey and stashed him away into their academy.
An absolute laser left foot, and was best on ground in the academy under 18 game VS Geelong Vfl.
Similar to Jayden Short in many ways but usage off half back is a huge weapon and adding this kid in replacement of an iffy Rioli and a inconsistent Stack would be a nice prospect.
He might still be there at 15 (17) ?Goater at first pic for me. Size and explosive speed over industrious player every day. Petracca and Oliver showed how dangerous that is. Dusty, Danger etc.
Second pic, best available tall, especially if they can play forward.
Yes need to hang onto next year’s 1st and x2 2ndsMore than happy to do this, also not a fan of using any of our 3 picks we'll likely use next yr.
St Kilda having pick 28 is far from ideal when Owen's (if he makes it past 20) could be drafted before that pick. This would be good IMO
7 Ward
Trade 15 & 28 to StKilda for 9
9 Erasmus
Trade 2022 first round selection to GWS for 13
13 Amiss
26 Bazzo
27 Zac Taylor
I'm not sure either, it was suggestion from a Richmond fan not me.I’m not sure what the incentive would be for Richmond to do a deal with Saints without having pick 9 involved to be honest.
Pick 28 (now our last pick) is I believe tied to St Kilda (Jack Higgins trade). If we do that for your next years second, all it would take is the Saints to finish above 10th next season (which you’d say is a better than fair chance) for your next years second to be worse off than this years second, and Richmond lose out.
Therefore I think you’ll need to add something to make it worth Richmond’s while. A future third May also work, but based on what we paid for pick 27 (three thirds), I’m not sure that will be enough.
For Callahan. For sure.Just saw this trade suggestion on the Freo board and thought it had merit for us and GWS. Thoughts?
Wouldn't say they wouldn't.We would not have 7 and 15. We’d have 2 and 19 if this went through. It would mean GWS with picks 6 & 7 would not choose WA kids.
