fair enough. it's just that you hear it a lot and drafting will be testing bc of there being so little competitive footy.

I do think Adelaide are a chance of snaping him up if they don't trade their pick, especially with Talia gone. Butts, McAsey and Murray are their main 3.

Hawthorn could look at him as a future partner with DGB given McEvoy and Hartigan are getting on.

Freo likely to take Erasmus.

So the chances of Gibcus being there at 9 is pretty likely at this stage. If we could get both Gibcus AND Amiss/Van Rooyen with our first 2 picks, I'd call that a win. Otherwise give me Gibcus and Rachele.

If we don't take Gibcus at 9, I highly expect Freo or St Kilda to snap him up at one of the next 2 picks after ours.

Non Negotiable for me is a KPD and a Key Forward. They are now our weakest areas depth wise with CCJ, Chol and Garthwaite all going. If one of Lynch or Jack go down, we really only have Samson Ryan to come in, unless we play Soldo as a Ruck and Nank out of the square. That option doesn't fill me with much hope. We could look at a state league player later in the draft as a depth option. Tyler Keitel from the WAFL wouldn't be a bad shout as depth.

Likewise down back, what if one of Tarrant, Balta or Grimes get injured? Who do we have?

Not surprised. Way overrated in PC land. Their mock is very close. I think we’ll miss Hobbs also unless we can get up the order which is not looking likely. If he is till there at 8 I expect us to throw something sweet to the Shockers to jump up a pick.

My guess is that Andrews goes at 4 and Gibcus gets to us. Amiss at 10 and then Erasmus, Johnson and Wanganeen the next 3.
