Key Off-Season Dates
This is a comprehensive list including dates for draft combines, list lodgements, delisted free agency windows and return to train dates. I had to collate these from three different club websites because the AFL is lazy af and doesn't have it on their website, so thought it might be helpful to share:

FAQs & Resources Thread

It has an index at the top with threadmarks so it's easy to find what you're looking for – or easier than scrolling through 250 pages of AFL Rules, Regulations and CBA pdfs anyway.

These sorts of questions are all answered along with a bunch of other resources made by posters from across BigFooty (feel free to add to it!):

didn‘t papley desperately want to move to carlton last year?
when the deal fell through he stayed
he then proceeded to have the sort of year that gets you into the all australian side - I know that because he was in the all australian side.
a desperate want-away doesn’t always lead to bad blood or no game time.
I’ll also mention matthew pavlich here as well - how many aa’s did he get after not leaving freo despite being desperately homesick and demanding a trade that didn’t happen early in his career?

FORMER Adelaide defender Daniel Talia will sit out the 2022 season after suffering another injury setback with his troublesome foot, his manager has revealed.
Talia, 30, was delisted at the end of the season after failing to play a game this season.

Not so good for Daniel.

Love how Pickers only came clean after the trade period ended

If we get a godfather deal, I'm on board with taking it.

But I do love the idea of Callaghan.

I just hope we don't take unders to trade back so we can pick up Andrew.

That’s for sure worst case scenario trading back to only pick up a not so great pick and then taking Andrews imo

Cal Twomey saying Finn Callaghan is defintely in play for us at #2 also said teams will come calling for the pick
I think Freo will offer pick 6 and 8 for Callaghan (pick 2) and pick 13. You have so many mids already I think that change might help fit your needs. I think Mac Andrew or Gibcus will still be available at 6 (which will be 8 after Darcy and Daicos bids) then at 8 (will be 10) anyone one of Erasmus, Rachele, Amiss would fit your needs.

Not sure you’ll get 13 thrown in on that trade

The starting rate to even consider trading pick 2 is x 2 1st rounders. The magic deal you have here actually has us giving up an extra 400+pts to you guys.

So safe to say...

You cannot seriously think 13 comes back to you lol 😂

Agree with you guys. At best I'd expect it to be our future second rounder (since we don't have one this year), and even that is overs for jumping up from 6 & 8.
