Somethings never change... though he is probably making more sense than Whately... not that I watch them much anymore.

I prefer him drunk on 360, he lets slip things he probably shouldnt.

FYI - Im not sure he has ever been sober on the show. :drunk:

Rayner looks like he's done a knee.
Snap.

Yeah doesn't look good at all
How confident are you that he has?
Not a doctor, but watching the vision of him after they did the ACL test in the rooms it's not a good sign.

The incident itself looked like your typical "simple" ACL planted leg.
Thanks Doc.

ACL, awful news. Its horrible news to "lose" a year of your playing career for such an innocuous incident.

I am going to imagine coughing up sponsorship dollars to an inconsequential, minor sporting team isnt going to be high on the list of things to do at the GFG alliance....https://www.afr.com/companies/financial-services/labor-calls-for-whyalla-protection-from-greensill-fallout-20210310-p579dy
As such, I wonder if the AFL will have to bank-roll this basket case yet again? If so, perhaps they could be the ones to move to Tassie? Thoughts?

Paddy Ryder taking leave due to personal reasons.

St Kilda going for the former Crows in Paul Hunter and Shaun McKernan as their starting ruck tandem in 2021.

Why ??

They're more financial than a number of Vic clubs these days
Because North Melbourne already play home games in Tasmania, and have spent several years establishing a presence and relationships down there. Also, a large part of the reason why they're better off financially these days is their involvement in Tasmania.

Hunter looked alright the other day

Can confirm North Melbourne have increased their spend in Tassie and are looking for ways to be seen as "local".

I'd support* a new Hobart team, but not the Roos. I think that is a common position down here.

Will be destined to fail if that's the way it goes.

* Second team, I'm a Crows man till death do us part. We are going through a tricky 20-year period in our relationship but I cannot deny that in my heart of hearts, I'm still all in.

What would probably happen is roos move to Tassie, Tassie public dont get involved as much as they would for a brand new team.
Roos will be welcomed back to Victoria and the Vic media will say how sorry they are.

Only until Rowan Marshall is good to go.

And if their rookie pick 211cm former basketballer Sam Alabakis shapes up they'll both be in for a short sojourn at the Saints

South would've been happy if they went with him now !!

Yeah, and I'd have liked it if we rookied Rowan Marshall in any of the 3 years he was available... 200cm ruck/forward/defenders with exquisite skills don't come along all that often. I posted heaps of highlights on here at the time every year he was available, the last season he starred for the now defunct Ballarat Roosters VFL team. Still there were 16 other AFL teams that overlooked him but he was always a far better propect than any of Lowden, Hunter and Strachan.
