We're gonna get smashed with this man on the mark rule if we have mids who don't run both ways.
You'd think with that rule in that gives an advantage to speed and endurance the AFL wouldn't want to lower interchange numbers to potentially slow that play down late in games.

Actually, they're not bothering a lot of the time. Also, they're ignoring infractions, for the most part.

Surely Australia is in a position to open the doors properly now? Seems like a hell of a lot of effort, only to continue having restrictions.

They are waiting for the last 5 minutes of the game.
In case of a Covid Case they want to quarantine the specific 'pod' of crowd members.
If they just make it a free for all with everybody they won't know who is with who.
I think with the vaccine they should be concentrating more on getting it out rather than silly restrictions though.
I can see it both ways.

Maybe, that's probably the thinking, but once they realise everyone has been on the same public transport, same kiosks, same bathrooms and so on, we're going into a lock down anyway.
