Crows new partner is mismatch brewing. Pity I don't like their beers.

Funny thing is the co-owner is a mad port fan and one of Goldsack's best mates.
Don't mind the session ale but yeah that's quite funny.

Mind you, Sidewood is one of Ports major sponsors and the wife HATES Port.

When was this announced?

Not quite as funny as one of Pirate Life's original investors being Nat Fyfe.

Should have gone with Prancing Pony or Little Bang IMO.

Mismatch/Lot 100 would have a bit more cash to splash than the other 2

I think they're all pretty average. The only PL I rate is the IIPA. It's around 8.8% but still tastes like beer. 500ml can too so 1 makes you feel nice and happy.
yeah well, some of us remember the fare we had growing up. I am not stepping in to bat for the modern day micro brewery as I don't drink IPA or Lager unless there literally is nothing else to drink. This is the sort of garbage they were trying to market 'back in the day'

What the hell did I just read here.

Port Powah have won the March Premiership Cup for the fourth year in a row.

If the AFL had announced this sub rule earlier Westhoff may still be on Ports list and he could've savoured the "victory" with all their supporters.

Clarko should've told Gill earlier he wanted a sub.

Richmond and Carlton have been praised by Hocking for how they activated their 23rd man in Thursday night's season-opener at the MCG.

Oscar McDonald became the league's first medical substitute, when he came into the game at half-time for Blues teammate Jack Silvagni, who is expected to miss an extended period due to a shoulder dislocation.

But Tigers defender Nick Vlastuin (knee) remains a chance to play in round-two after being subbed off for Jack Ross late in the third quarter.

When introducing the substitute, the AFL said it was for injuries that looked set to sideline a player for 12 days - though for any injury bar concussion, there is no mandated break.

"I've only got complimentary remarks about how both the clubs used it," Hocking told SEN.

"We have got trust in our doctors and we have got the right processes in place to address whatever might come out of the medical sub."

Hocking admitted the idea for the rule came about after a meeting with the league's coaches last week and was fast-tracked into action.

What a surprise....the AFL could not organize the proverbial in a Brothel, bunch of useless campaigners

I called it lol.

How many players will get subbed out with "calf tightness"?

I can see teams like Port and Richmond really gaming the system to bring on fresh legs.

Where is the Eagle Blue in that lot?

More a dark beer fan myself. Enjoy a good IPA, but agree on lager. There should also be a ban on "sours".

Hey... don't knock the NT Stubbie!

OK... nobody drinks the contents of an NT Stubbie. Their only purpose is/was is as souvenirs for people visiting the Top End.

So the 4 clubs so far have gone young with their subs..... I hope we don't do that.
