When it was revealed (supposedly) from guys like Jenkins that they wanted Teague back as coach, it may have revealed more about Teague than we thought at the time. I don't think his abilities are the issue, but he's too soft on the players and won't hold them accountable when they don't perform or put in maximum effort. I think you can be like that as an assistant because you can leave it up to the senior coach to do all that stuff, but when you're the head guy in charge you just can't.

They had the spike going for the ultra disciplinarian in Bolton and performed when let loose, but that doesn't last forever. Recruitment certainly hasn't helped them either, but I'm not sure you'd bring in Worsfold as a consultant if you 100% believed Teague was doing a great job either.
