Gary Ayres obviously learnt plenty since his time with us...impressive 3 quarter address with the game on the line.

Seems like a pretty standard 3 quarter time address.
Not denying his success since he left afc.

I like his message about making sure they do the easy things. I could manage that.

Less sure when he said "don't just pull it for the sake of pulling it". I can see an upside.

Port kissed on the dick again. Of course Brisbane lose Lachie Neale this week.

Lol expect Tex to get injured before the Showdown next week knowing Port's luck when it comes to opposition outs.

Remember when a red-hot Richmond bizzarely decided to rest Dusty when it was the round they played Port? First time he hadn't played in ages.
And then the next season he missed playing Port again because he was suspended (at least Port still lost that game lol)

legit could have broken a nose with the flushness/force of that hit
Rare to break a kids nose because their nasal bones are soft at the point. But it would have hurt like hell. (My kid smothered a ball with his face, lots of blood but no break. Doc told us kids noses aren’t brittle like adults.)

The head trauma is the real issue, that ball was a swift kick and traveling.

The parent was an absolute idiot for doing what he did. When you sit behind the goals like that you have a responsibility to protect your partner and children.

Over the years on rare occasions I have had to hit/shield the ball away from partners and their children.

I mean FFS a kid does not have reflexes/skill at that age to react to a ball hurtling towards them.

Apparently it was his big brother not his parent.

Looks like little brother won't be able to wear their babygates in the showdown, and the nuffies are saying they should wear it anyway and cop the fine.

The AFL control your board and have you bent over with their Covid loan. You'll wear a mankini if thats what the AFL wants you to do. And you'll do it with a smile.
