So with Rookie concerns and No Thursday teams now I'm thinking more midpricers.

Id go Jelly - he’s one you start if fit I reckon - I’ve been burnt too many times to go back & not sure with GWS being average will have an effect on him aswell.

Danger worries me with the interrupted pre season but I don’t really like anyone else up fwd besides Dusty & Heeney..

I know you don't like him, but Dunkley's a safe 105+ pick this year imo.

Yeah I’ll consider him that’s for sure - if he went to Essendon he would be the biggest lock up fwd

Thoughts on Zorko? Hearing he will spend more time up fwd this year but 90-95 is easily gettable IMO

Edit: Gotta admit Macrae & Dunkley does look pretty good over Danger & Titch with the injury clouds

Yeah I’ll consider him that’s for sure - if he went to Essendon he would be the biggest lock up fwd

Thoughts on Zorko? Hearing he will spend more time up fwd this year but 90-95 is easily gettable IMO

I like him but for 90-95 you could just go Heeney.

Zorko has been very reliable in terms of his body and games played. I’m not worried about his age, it’s his role for me.

Macrae can only play midfield, he's going to be in the guts 10000%. Guys like Bont, Dunks and Libba have all had seasons playing as forwards

In the Doggies 2016 Premiership year Macrae played Mid/HF. He only kicked 2 goals for the year but he must have spent 35%+ in the forward line because he was a SC M/F in 2017. Also he was drafted as a HF with a nice side step IIRC.

Ohhh yeah, you're right, I remember now. But he wasn't very good at it. He built his body and moved into the midfield, now he's one of the best accumulators in the game, and actually has decent disposal efficiency.

Worst case you're getting a 110-115 average with Macrae. Maybe you can get him $50k to $100k cheaper later, but it's not a bad result

Think Hunter, Treloar and Baz Smith will spend the most time on the wings.

Starting on a wing and running into contests (that's what Jelly and Zerrett did in 2020, it didn't hurt their scoring) will not hurt Macrae's scoring anyway, always get enough of the ball.
