Taranto for me. Proven scoring history, looks very fit. LDU is close with high upside but I still view him as risky with Cunninton, Anderson and Dumont to come back soon. Heeney is way down the bottom.

Brayshaw vs Walsh

I see Cunners and Jed back into the side will mean less heavy lifting for LDU which will free him up to be more damaging with his possessions and he will be much harder for opposition to target.

I've got both LDU and Tarranto.

currently have dumont and Cunnington on the pine, Berry is available. Who should I drop?

in the forward line I have ladhams who I like when he’s getting ruck time but he didn’t get a fortune on the weekend. Fisher, Riewoldt, L McCarthy and B Scott are available - slim pickings.

finally, I have nank however witts is now available as well as big O - any
Upside to the latter two?

Jordon's stocks have risen greatly with Harmes' demise. You should look to have all 3 of those must have rooks on your books before the first price rises though.

The Tyson to rookie $$ left over at least gets me into Zerrett & Oliver for Rowell.

a) hunter or ziliams straight trade who will become my D8 and that line full of keepers

b) swing clark back to D8 and top up a mid at M5 (first 4 keepers)

c) H young , bank 180k cash for next week.

I wouldn't trust a 460k mid to be a top scorer the position so I'd lean A. Similar for me.

The 6th placed back will average less than the 8th placed mid, probably by a fair bit. It's therefore an overall points versus completing final team earlier / saving trades question.

Probably true if you can get the top 8 mids in but if Taranto is your M8 come season end you’ll be going well. I like either option.

I like Mills as a high upside guy. First game he's a full time mid he scores 154. Last season he played mostly HB and still averaged 101. If not set on him Walsh is the safest bet likely to avg 110+.

I think McGrath is a trap.

Agree I’m pretty keen on him but with 3 north mids to return and a naked forward line I do wonder if he will drift forward more. Still he’s probably a better option than DeGoey who I traded in for Stephenson at the death just before round 1 lockout

North will always have mids out.
death, taxes and north's injury list.
Stepho will play all year and in the midfield by the looks.
i doubt he spends much time of the ground.
he's been resting on the wing.
