I would consider it if we decided against/ couldn't convince a mature ruck to come. I think he could fill in as Hipwood's replacement and also negate the need to grab an 18 year old tall in this draft. I feel we don't have a versatile, athletic, aggressive third tall as backup to either McStay/ Hipwood or Gardiner/ Adams should everyone be fit. I would certainly play him ahead of Fullerton (who I see as developing into a Steph Martin style ruck) and Ballenden. It's not the worst idea and I could see it working. I'm not sure he would accept 150k or less though. Perhaps if nobody else comes forward, or he really likes the idea of coming here.196cm
Not that big KF/ruck… but would offer some flexibilty as that third target perhaps?
Was just a question… not likely an option
yep that is what I believe it generally means. Although I think Lester might have been one that went out and back in again but I might be wrong.Specifically, "not quite ready to let you go" generally actually means "you're not out of contract yet and AFL clubs hate paying out contracts".
true - I think the term is - Opportunity Costs. If they use that money to then secure King from a St Kilda raid to get the brothers together then that is a good deal for the Suns.Suns don't have to pay half a mil next year for a state level footballer

He mentioned Coleman pacifically as Birchall replacement on B&F night after Birchall’s retirement speech
At his age and being a higher draft pick, I just thought it could be a decent option (I agree if we can’t get that ruck role filled)…. There would be worse options out there in regards to providing flexibility etcI would consider it if we decided against/ couldn't convince a mature ruck to come. So with Cerra being a done deal, what trades are being kept for the last hour of the last day now?

Perhaps a back ended contract could be used this year on somebody if the salary cap is a bit tight this year.
I'd be prepared to risk it as a lot players are out of contract at the end of next year which might allow an opportunity to restructure a little bit. That's Collingwood talk.
And ftr I haven't met a vegan cross-fitter that I could tolerate yet either.
lobb wants back to GWS time to talk to briggs perhaps
Gee how would you know they were a vegan or a cross-fitter or both? *blinks innocently*
He forgot Payne as a defender if we wanted to use Andrews forward agree with him on pacey tall midfielder hopefully Goater makes it to our pick 16 the interesting part was at the end when he said WeRendell was just talking about us on Trade Radio, see if you all can listen back later. And they're taking questions now.
I am a simple person, and they make me see red. But this is a football forum so resolve not to bite next time you leap to the defence of the parasites that are happy to let the rest of society take the burden of any risk...Sounds rather simplistic

true as said, will not engage on this issue any further, hopefully we get some news on our playing list soon...People are entitled to their own opinions on things though.
Fort is getting talked about as depth player if Oscar gets injured with Fullarton Lane and Smith not ready to take the number 1 ruckman position if not best 22 what does he really bring when Ceglar can play as a forward and switch hit with the BigOJournos seem pretty confident that Ceglar will go to Geelong, so you'd assume we're a good chance of getting Fort.
With the Lobb rumours I'd probably rather we go for Briggs. This would probably mean HSmith or Lane will be delisted at the end of next year though
That's the hospital system as it fills up with un- vaccinated sick people.
They stopped cancer screening programs in NSW recently due to covid concerns. That's hundreds of people who will miss screening (there is no catch up capacity), and some of them will have cancer that gets to grow and decimated. That sucks.
Mate from Maitland had a detached retina about three weeks ago. Was caught out in Lismore cause covid, tried to get back home to his specialist for surgery. They said don't bother, no elective surgery happening and that's classed as elective. Fortunately Lismore was still doing surgery and he was about to have the op. If he'd been at home, he'd have likely lost the eye.
Vaccination isn't just about not getting a flu, it's about saving the medical system for everyone.
