I would consider it if we decided against/ couldn't convince a mature ruck to come. I think he could fill in as Hipwood's replacement and also negate the need to grab an 18 year old tall in this draft. I feel we don't have a versatile, athletic, aggressive third tall as backup to either McStay/ Hipwood or Gardiner/ Adams should everyone be fit. I would certainly play him ahead of Fullerton (who I see as developing into a Steph Martin style ruck) and Ballenden. It's not the worst idea and I could see it working. I'm not sure he would accept 150k or less though. Perhaps if nobody else comes forward, or he really likes the idea of coming here.

yep that is what I believe it generally means. Although I think Lester might have been one that went out and back in again but I might be wrong.

At his age and being a higher draft pick, I just thought it could be a decent option (I agree if we can’t get that ruck role filled)…. There would be worse options out there in regards to providing flexibility etc

I'd be prepared to risk it as a lot players are out of contract at the end of next year which might allow an opportunity to restructure a little bit.

Journos seem pretty confident that Ceglar will go to Geelong, so you'd assume we're a good chance of getting Fort.

With the Lobb rumours I'd probably rather we go for Briggs. This would probably mean HSmith or Lane will be delisted at the end of next year though

Fort is getting talked about as depth player if Oscar gets injured with Fullarton Lane and Smith not ready to take the number 1 ruckman position if not best 22 what does he really bring when Ceglar can play as a forward and switch hit with the BigO

They stopped cancer screening programs in NSW recently due to covid concerns. That's hundreds of people who will miss screening (there is no catch up capacity), and some of them will have cancer that gets to grow and decimated. That sucks.

Mate from Maitland had a detached retina about three weeks ago. Was caught out in Lismore cause covid, tried to get back home to his specialist for surgery. They said don't bother, no elective surgery happening and that's classed as elective. Fortunately Lismore was still doing surgery and he was about to have the op. If he'd been at home, he'd have likely lost the eye.

Vaccination isn't just about not getting a flu, it's about saving the medical system for everyone.

There's a lot of carrot & stick going on at the moment, but one of the big things with Aussies is they get their back up at being forced to do anything let alone being threatened with job security over it.

Here's a simple solution, come December 1st there will be enough vaccines available that everyone that wants one will have had at least one jab, from this date if you haven't been vaccinated with one dose & you don't have an exemption due to health issues then you forfeit your right for public hospital treatment if you get Covid. Simples. I trust my immune system. No probs, you've made your call then.

Edit: No exemptions for religious reasons either. If you get covid, your god can heal you
