I cant help but thinking people are being harsh on Elijah Hewet he played some great football over Carnival ,looks like he needs to work on his motor but in years to come people could look back and say we rated him wrong
I agree. Hewett is a jet. So many of the better players have poor aerobic capacity at junior level, but once they get into an afl program this is an area that improves significantly. Maurice Rioli Jnr and Tyler Sonsie are good examples of having poor aerobic capacity b4 joining Richmond, now they are both covering the ground really well. Whoever gets Hewett will be very happy. His upside is huge.

That strength and burst out of the contest is going to hold him in good stead at AFL level. I have no doubt he is still in top 10 calculations. I’d imagine he is going to test pretty well at the combine for most things except the endurance tests.

Henry Hustwaite is a tough player to judge.

If you were convinced he could play as an inside mid at the AFL level he could be very valuable.

If you aren't convinced. He would be the third best key back prospect in the draft even if his poise in traffic carries value as a CHB.

Aaron Cadman is in some ripping form, in the last 4 games has averaged almost 4 goals and 21 disposals per game. Bailey Humphrey had an almost game with 16 disposals and kicking 1.4 he has kicked 16.17 so far this year.

Only one more week of nab league until finals start which should be interesting with Sandringham and Oakleigh so far back on the ladder due to missing so many good players due to APS. Could realistically have a weakened grand final because of it, I have no doubt Oakleigh will make the final despite their ladder position once they get all their players back.

Oakleigh will get their chance - the cavalry will return and if they are good enough they will get on a winning run. Lots of NAB teams will fancy their chances

Sh**House
This type of question and response really craps me off. It has to be looked at realistically. Victoria has nearly 4 times (3.81) the population of S. Australia. Just on a numbers bases the Vic comp. should be significantly stronger. I believe that if you are U18 in Vic you are most likely to play in the U18 competition. Quite a few U18 players in SA play at higher levels further diluting the standard. The better comparison is at the U18 national competition, but this is always flawed as Vic with two teams has a 1.91:1.00 ratio personnel advantage a team. The players will generally find their level of competition and can be better compared when they make the AFL.

Kobe Ryan, 37 disposals, 2 goals, 23 kicks, 9 marks, 14 handballs, 8 tackles, 10 clearances, 8 goal assists, 169 RP, under 18's last weekend.
I think he has so much potential as a well rounded inside-outside mid and am very surprised he keeps seeming to be falling down draft boards.

Like swans to use one of the firsts on him
