I'd probably have Hotton higher after today's performance. And Holland's is top 20 easily. But nice list.

A Couple of handy links - 2022 Indicative Draft order has the order and points value along with it; NAB AFL Draft - AFL.com.au

...And Calculating Cal as a staple: Cal Twomey's Phantom Form Guide: Top draft prospects' August ranking

I'm interested on who might be getable at 28.
TBH, I think we are 1 quality outside mid/fwd with quality disposal short (I think Williams could fit this role if he got fitter and built a tank), and one hardnut clearance machine ala Luke Parker (Kennedy could fill this role if he can go up yet another level) and take the dependency off of Cripps.

Hard nut - Z-bowski.

If there isn't a slider, Hotton is who I want
I think the pedigree counts for something too, his old man knows what it takes at the elite level and he got there the hard way. I was doing some running 2-3 years back at a running track in Hampton and there was this bloke who was also training there and he was in great nick and I kept thinking where do I know this bloke from and it was Trent Hotton and he was seriously moving.

Also Haileybury, Sandringham and Vic Metro. When you throw in the father you can’t get a much better pedigree.

Can I ask why you think we need “one hard nut clearance machine”? Cripps, Walsh, Hewett, Cerra, Kennedy and a few others not enough? The other description, absolutely yes. We also need a couple of project talls rather urgently.
Edit: In the inexplicable event Clark slides to our pick, hei is the one inside type I would consider. Selwood clone, may not be the best player in the draft, but definitely huge impact.

I would love three main draft picks and a rookie pick.

Balance/improve our tall options and improve connection and maybe x-factor, surely that is what our draft will be about.

Out of the 5 names you posted there, I think really only Kennedy fits the bill (and this is slightly surprising with him being a Christian) . By hard nut I don't mean the 'Dermott' type who fancies themselves as some type of lunatic enforcer, but I mean someone who will not take a backward step, fears no-one (will shake them up), and continually go to the bottom of every pack and dig the ball out. Despite his lighter frame, I see Clayton Oliver as another of these types. Cripps is hard, but not a nuggety bottom of the pack dweller.

PS. Paddy Dow is another whom I have seen dive under a few packs. Not sure he's quite as brave as Bam Bam though.
PPS. A big framed brainless meathead who'll run through anybody, and put the fear of God into them, so much they don't want to go near the ball - like Dipper - would be good to. :p

Reckon we need “your mate” in three years, giving him a couple of years to develop before Crippa, George and Bam Bam start to decline. Complement the work rate and silk of Walsh and Cerra, hopefully a developing Carroll or Dow😮 and a hybrid or two we pick up along the way. (Potentially underselling Doc in the middle and Setters if he hangs around too)

Attitude and application is a pedigree that is learnt from observation

A forward 1st, but never a fulltime mid

Think Fritsch
I do not agree at all. He is a Bont or Fyfe type. Not stating he will be at that level, but is that type and not beyond possible he could approach the level. He is not the exact profile I think we need most, but would absolutely be best available if he slides. He is a midfielder first, but equally capable forward. Fritsch is a forward only, and is not a comparison.

Fritsch could also play around stoppages due to his quick, one touch hands like Phillipou, but still see him more as a forward than a full-time mid at the next level

I'm a draft hack in the sense I watch You Tube clips this time of year.

From my various ventures onto YouTube, and looking at different phantom drafts and rankings, it seems that if Busslinger gets through to our pick, we take him.

This would genuinely be best available and most need on our list in the long term. Modern AFL teams build their defence and offence around contested ball, pressure and intercept marking. Look at the impact of May, Moore and Stewart.

He looks to be a lovely long kick who needs some fine tuning with decision making.

We've got some good options (when fit) at the moment in McGovern, Marchbank, Weitering and Young but thinking longer term, Busslinger could be an important part of our defence as our interceptor.
