It's not a highlights package. It's every play from that game. We should watch everybody's tape that way.

Humphrey can play midfield or forward, have burst pace and is a natural leader. Not my first choice but there is something to work with there.
I know it’s a small sample of footage,I just got the vibe of a setterfield likeness the way he moved.lol.I thought setterfield could play well on ball, didn’t seem to be a winger.this young bloke could turn out to be the star player I thought setterfield could of been.I just hope we get a good one and not waste more picks.👍

I'd be taking Humphrey in a heartbeat if he was still there at our pick.

On a side note, I wouldn't mind it if we gave Ned Cahill a rookie spot....had a great year in the VFL this year. Goal kicking small forward, and imo he actually offers more as a genuine small forward than Owies. Still only 21yo so has plenty of upside.

Agree with you, the only criteria is and has always been football skill and IQ first , the rest will develop, flashes are just that superficial, tear away speed form stoppages etc etc , Paddy Dow possessed good
breakaway speed fro cntr bounces , were did that get us.
Media and draft guru’s hype is dangerou.
Stick to the fundamentals and ya cant go wrong.
Darcy Jones fits into your suggested criteria, but with an added bonus he's quick.
On the small side which is the draw back but that never stopped Eddie Betts👍

If I had to pitch the Andy Brayshaw rolled gold, best chance to make it at the next level. Who would you guys suggest?

Is that the Melbourne one or the Dockers?

Melbourne - Ginbey an inside midfielder that could also move back.
Dockers - Tsatas or Wardlaw would be the best options, not sure we're getting our hands on it.

I'm a big fan of Hotton, would be very happy if we selected him.
Interested in your thoughts on Oli Northam and Patrick Hughes👍

Don't mind Northam, despite being rough round the edges and ungamely, does hit targets when in possession and competes well. Although others in his range seem to have more upside, someone like Petric or Verrel

Hughes is in next years draft

For me its clear that Phillipou will be the best option at out pick, is he is available. He is a good size, has match winning qualities. His profile is perfect for starting his career on a forward flank before moving into the midfield as he puts on some weight. Can win it in the air and on the ground, is a nice kick, good decision maker. He is brilliant when putting the ball inside 50, which for me is one of our weaknesses and something the club is conscious of, given our pick up of Cerra.

Simply put the kid knows how to play footy and has the tools to become an elite player, which is something I wouldn't say about many players who will be available at out pick.

I'd take Mackenzie or Hollands ( or Hayes if the club thinks we need him) but other than that I would prefer to split the pick and have a couple of bites of the cherry since you could throw a blanket over most of the kids ranked 10-25 I reckon.

What’s wrong with Hotton ? I actually think he is the one for us. Has class, pace and looks like he has a hunger about him
I think Hotton gets a little more attention than he usually would because of the Carlton link. He might be thereabouts but I'd prefer to split the pick if he's the best of what's left.

Phillipou or Humphrey would be awesome...
I’ll grant you Humphrey’s presence, but his disposal is substandard. I would struggle with that selection given our need to upgrade disposal efficiency and ball retention. Won’t be the same physical force at the highest level (refer Rayner, very slow burn and jury still out) Someone will gamble on his x-factor, hoping he doesn’t get to us.

I am all for a “percentage” pick with our first. Phillipou on top of the list. Hoping Wet Toast draft local(Hewett, Ginbey, Busslinger) St Kilda Jefferson or MacKenzie, Geelong Clark. With Cadman, Ashcroft, Wardlaw Tsatas, Sheezel, Humphrey right in top 6 mix (likelihood) we are in with a big chance. Rumours Gold Coast considering going early on Hollands to unite with his brother with go home factor in mind, too.

Phillipou is my first choice...

Also, think Humphrey will be gone before our pick...
Understand what your saying... However he has enormous upside and x factor, it's hard to ignore...

Humphrey is not a need straight away, so has time to develop that part of his game under Luke Power...
