I like Hollands, just cant imagine him being there. Be stunned if GCS don't take him. It just seems like the smart move for them with his brother there.
I like Philippou, Hewett and Weddle at 10 for us. Would love another top 15 pick to hopefully land Philippou and Weddle. at 29, I'd make a move on Jayden Davey.
Humphrey is made of the right stuff off n onI cannot put my finger on why I don't trust Sheezel, no doubt I will be wrong on my call. Humphrey I have more hope of making it at AFL level, he may be a De Goey styled forward/mid.

A nice, developing prospect- not blue chip but plenty of natural talent & will knock off a few rough edges in time.Van Es tested really well but how is he at football?
But will he at least wear shorts?Humphrey is made of the right stuff off n on
I agree with our strategy(via forty3, who is the most reliable itk since ericpascoe imo) of really trying to get up to get Sheezel. He is everything we need in a prospect. I would do everything this side of Stupid to get him for our Team.
But it seems that North will most likely, and most rightly, now keep 2 and 3 for Sheezel and Wardlaw.
So, after that, i'm very happy to keep 10 and wouldn't move it. It sits in the second bracket (about 7 to 11) in this draft. Keep it.
Then the draft opens up, where the strategy looks like(again rightly imo) to start moving forward our picks for 2 years.
Next years draft is short on talls. So, if we are going to trade in a pick between 10 and 29 I would be picking up Hayes. And maybe a second tall like Keeler with 29 (though he may not be available).

Next year isn't short on talls, in fact, I would say a better crop
I believe Sheezel is a Carlton supporter.
Still, that doesn't mean that the draft will roll out in our favour in that regard. All the ones we rate might fall between our picks. At least with this year, the players that might be 'gettable' arguably have a bit of upside. Next year's crop might be easier to read which could mean the competition to add them to a list will be tougher. 2015, theoretically, was also a good year for talls but most of the good ones ended up at the one club.Next year isn't short on talls, in fact, I would say a better crop

Who do you think will take Hayes? Personally, don't think he is a top ten.Hopefully GC select Hollands at 5, which I think is a real reach.
Phillipou will slide a little, but I think he is a flight risk
Humphrey is a risk, massive upside, but no dual side whatsoever and that kicking is still a concern. I see him as a poor man's Dangerfield. Hopefully he too is selected before our pick
Clark won't make our pick, Cats or WC would pounce, Busslinger the other option for both sides
This is who I believe are the top 10 prospects
Clark
Wardlaw
Phillipou
Sheezel
Cadman
Ashcroft
Busslinger
McKenzie
Tsatas
Hayes
So, if Hollands and Humphrey get selected earlier, both Phillipou and Hayes could be available at our pick. Add Hotton, Hewett, Ginbey and a smokey like Weddle around the mark
Think we will have access to a very good player
a lot of similar rated players around our pick, i would not be opposed to trading down and getting an extra late teen pick or early 20sHopefully GC select Hollands at 5, which I think is a real reach.

Not a fan of McKenzie, looks to handball too much because of his inability to take the game on.
Who do you think we will take with pick 11?
i like McKenzie as well. But surely the saints will take him at 9I think Hayes is around that mark, not interested of a draft position, more the player he becomes
I rate McKenzie highly, I see him as the most consistent mid behind Clark. Never panics, generally looks up and hits a long, low ball to a teammates advantage. In traffic, he will hit a hand pass if he doesn't have space to kick
I think we we take a player that has good decision making and very good footskills

Sounds like maybe Hawks at 6, or Cats if Clark goes prior to 7i like McKenzie as well. But surely the saints will take him at 9
Didnt think of that, not surprised thoughSounds like maybe Hawks at 6, or Cats if Clark goes prior to 7
Philipou hey - Make it so number one!Having an early stab at this.
1. Bris - Ashcroft - GWS interviewed him. Perfunctory, but ticks the box to call him out. Takes some pressure off Cadman, who'll have enough as it is. Think they'll do it. 0% chance to backfire on them.
2. GWS - Cadman
3. North - Sheezel
4. North - Wardlaw
5. Ess - Tsatas - Pretty obvious choice
6. Syd - Humphrey - Think he suits them here. Worth the pick. Forward/mid allows Heeney and even Hayward to play a bit more mid. Think the swap suits both Syd and GC.
7. Haw - Clark. Exactly what Hawks need, and with the added bonus of jabbing Geelong in the ribs. Expect cheeky Mitchell grin. Worpel, Cooper Stephens other Geelong boys down there.
8. Geel - Jefferson - My 1st sorta surprise i guess. With Clark gone, i think they may take the chance to develop a Tomahawk replacement. They won't get many such quality chances. Bit early for mine. But wouldn't surprise.
9. WC - Busslinger - Again maybe a touch early but apparently won't get past Bulldogs to their 2nd pick. Quality KPD
10. StK - McKenzie - Safe, quality, homegrown mid. Not a fave of mine but pretty obvious pick here.
11. Carl - Philipou - Like the dream of Sheezel, this is the player this team needs. The quality young goalkicking forward/mid.
12. WB - Ginbey
13. WC - Hewett
14. Melb - Ed Allen - Bolters tend to bolt. Can't quite see it myself. Pretty sloppy. But bolters tend to bolt, especially really athletic ones.
15. GC - Hollands - Think Hollands gets to here, so pick swap pays off.
16. GWS - George - Explosive country player from Nth Vic. Think they can confidently draft him, rehabilitate him, settle him in and reap the benefit.
17. Coll - Weddle
18. GC - Hayes - Collins getting on. Pick swap nets them Hollands and a quality KPD.
19. Ess - Davey - Jab in the ribs by McCartney to his ol mate Dodoro.
20. GWS - Konstanty
21. GWS - Burgiel - 4 quality country boys to journey to GWS together.
22. WC - Gruzewski
23. Bris - Fletcher - bid by Bulldogs to replace Hunter type.
24. WB - Hotton
25. Ade - McHalaney
i like McKenzie as well. But surely the saints will take him at 9
