Read somewhere that he's more likely to get one of those trial type deals where he trains with a club during the off-season and they think about adding him to the list.

Weird line of thinking, considering Quinton's stength has never been his meticulous attention to detail with his training.

Hardly weird to look as long as possible at Narkle over summer and gauge his conditioning then, that’d be the thinking IMO makes perfect sense

With our drafting it makes me wonder if there is a RFA on the horizon who can hold down a spot as a key defender. Also with limited capital next year means if the other club matches, means we don’t have to hand over as much as we have in the past.

Doedee

Doedee will be their next captain, has no intent to leave and is only 187 cm - but plays well above his height. Common misconception that he's a KPD...when he's more Zach Guthrie size.

AFC have him listed as one, but I think that's just a mistake to be honest...as he doesn't play like one and he's certainly not the size of one. Very similar to Rampe in that respect. We already have a few of similar size and height that can play that role - Stewart, J. Henry, Z Guthrie, O'Connor, and now Murdoch. Not really a requirement for us.
