As expected though, the first 4 were in their own class, and then next 10 were in their own class...now it's a crapshoot for the next 20 picks or so.

Oh don’t get me wrong I’m excited to have him in the hoops.
Said all last year and even early he would go top 3.
Compared him to similar noise about Walsh.
Going to get another Mid sized forward with pick 58

Clohsey and Ricardi with a KPD as rookies

Don't forget Seth Campbell wouldn't surprise me if we get him as the smaller forward

What did he do? I read back at trade time that he had a couple of tickets on himself but so do heaps of good players. Spoke well, good size, younger than most and had a great highlights package, not sure why there's so much vitriol about the kid.

He's got more than just a couple of tickets. He goes to the pub with his mates, they order beers, he pulls out a jug of his own bathwater and chugs that.

It's great to have confidence in your own ability. The problem for him is that he's shown signs of crossing the line from confidence into full-blown ego, and that's a massive red flag for a 17yo kid who's frankly done NOTHING in football yet, and is about to walk into a professional club environment full of experienced pros who have actual runs on the board. If he wants to get the most out of his talent, he needs to be humble and try to learn as much as he possibly can from them. If he lets his ego gets in the way of that, like for example cracking the sh*ts if he ends up in the VFL for a few weeks, he's screwed.

Was a 18-25 pick so he was within the vicinity. Kinnear is an astute evaluator of talent. Twomey & Co just take notes from him and Wells etc etc.

I'm we you Gee...I wouldn't mind if the next pick and a rookie pick we get a key position player on both sides of the ground.. hope one of them is Olivier Northam , has a potential to be a Blitz style of player
