Just saw that penalty for 'insufficient attempt ' to keep the ball in-play from Fyfe inside the forward 50.

Would have never been paid in the 90's

Well else is he supposed to kick the ball? If he wasn't going for goal, thought he was genuinely looking to pass that off to a teammate.

No 'deliberate out of bounds'/insufficent attempt should be paid if you kick the ball out of bounds inside the 50.

Lock that rule in. AFL has fcuked our game with rules like that.
