Naismith from the Swans has been let go too. He looked really good a while back. Apparently had a double knee reco after they stuffed the surgery on the first one so has missed 2 years.

James Rowe or Ben Ronke probably make more sense though. Rowe probably suits us more.

My crows mate celebrated Rowes delisting almost as much as I celebrated Dunstan’s [emoji6]

Looked alright from Victoria. No worse than Butts.

Yep
we did have a hard draw but lost to Port kicking 5 goals 19 behinds, when port were in crap form

Smashed by Essendon (enough said )

and smashed by the Dogs which imo was one of our coaching teams worst nights in the box

Hopefully under Lyon we dont lose those games anymore
Agreed. We also need to smash teams by 60-70pts, not by 10pts after being up by 30pts at 3/4 qtr time. A sure sign of a mentally weak team

I really believe we don't need any average performers on our list - it can be argued we have a few already and we don't need any more - Wood and Campbell should be it , even though they are solid performers.

Take all our draft picks , we are in a position where if the players continue to develop we are winning more games , a lot of the guys are now at the age and have the experience to really lift and the best part about it we have not wasted money on any trades leaving us in a very good position to snap up a player we want next year when teams are going to be gambling on how special next seasons draft is.

Players I expect to take us up a few pegs next year.
King , Marshall , Battle , Higgins , Clark , Coffield , Sharman , Paton , Hayes --- all these guys are at the age to show there best and who knows how much we will see improvement in Billings , Butler , Hill etc with the new coach.
As we know we basically had only 4 solid contributors the whole year so if Ross can get a few more to lift who knows what will happen.

Anderson is the definition of a list clogger and I usually hate that term

Bringing in a 29 year old to play reserves when you could be backing in kids

Bytel may not make it but at this stage of his career he's more chance than Anderson
By definition, anyone who isn’t a consistent best 24 player from another team we don’t want. Our team is rife with fringe players hence the mediocre playing list problem we have.

We need to be drafting and developing A grade talent. A past issue of ours…

So with the way the draft looks like falling we'll almost certainly grab a mid-type, our shortage of 195cm+ types makes me hope we'll go after at least one with our 2nd rounders. Question is who, will we get another SA special in Keeler or take a punt on a tumbling West Aussie such as Scully or Lemmey or the Vic Country lad Van Es?

Maybe we take Busslinger at 10, if available? Seems a pretty good option at that pick, depending on who else falls to 10

It's a possibility but the draft would probably have to fall a very particular way - that's where the Essendon pick opens it all up, do they go with the obvious move in Tsatas or a greater need?

I think Essendon will take Bailey Humphrey. Gold Coast Ginbey. It’s gonna be interesting who Hawthorn take with their first pick. Tsatas, Clark or maybe Mckenzie? If they take Clark who appears to be who Geelong are after then that opens things up. In that scenario I could see Geelong take Buss….which then has a flow on effect for who the Eagles take with both Ginbey & Buss off the board. I reckon there’ll be a few surprises.

Because Richmond have had no off field issues recently while our players are constantly making headlines our s**t behaviour?
Think it’s more that Richmond have such a presence as a club that they can afford to have a few players who act up and push back on the media etc.

We’d be hounded until he’s sacked at the first indiscretion, the tigers wouldn’t give a shit.

Also makes me wonder what else he’s done we don’t know about given the Tigers have let him go.

Our off field support systems have been great lately.

If we thought he could contribute on field and fulfil his talent, then we should back in those systems instead of looking down upon ourselves thinking we couldn't possibly support him because Richmond couldn't get it to work.

I'd take Keeler with our second if he was still there, but i doubt it.
Lemmey might be a third round option.

Your mancave already has a Westinghouse, a Kelvinator chest freezer, a vintage Frigidaire ( Painted in StKilda colours ), and an ancient Tuckerbox that uses too much electricity because the seals are shot. You don't need another.

There still should be some good options with our last 3 picks

I'd be happy to land two of those you've listed

Keeler would be ideal but I think someone grabs him before we get a chance

Van As with one of Scully/Lemney would be handy

We need small forward back up. To me those guys like Ronke and Rowe make perfect sense. One knee injury to Butler and we all of a sudden have guys like Byrnes or Bytel as small pressure forwards.

I tend to agree I’m more pointing out that Richmond gets a lot of rope from media and public that we don’t.

It shouldn’t impact who we recruit but I suspect it does.

It's that small club mentality. The events of the past month suggest we have started to move past that and aren't afraid of copping backlash to improve so if Stack could improve the list, we need to apply that to list management too.

Not sure they are any better than just using a spare mid. Are they better than out of position Bytel or Byrnes?

I'd love Jacob Konstantky to slide to our second pick.

Would Max Pescud be worth a late pick?
