t sure on that to tell you the truth, he’s better then crouch but he has no hurt factor. I’d prefer someone that good forward of centre that helps create play instead of another defensive midfielderDunkley is elite and is one of the dogs best players along with Bont and Macrae. Can play mid and forward.
I didn't see the game on the weekend, but going by stats it seems as though he was much more involved in the game. If he can keep that up for the rest of the year he may work his way back into our side. Or if not, then he will at least attract some attention from other clubs who are lacking a key forward.Absolutely but I suspect he'll be going around for us again next season that said. I think it's a case of in for a penny in for a pound with us and Darcy. Maybe the penny will drop, stranger things have happened.
I have him in my supercoach team and I know he averages 115 a game. I don't watch him much as I know he will consistently scores the same each game with an occasional 150. He's great for supercoach. No

I wouldn't be getting too carried away just yet the Centrals KPD's are a very ordinary lot..I didn't see the game on the weekend, but going by stats it seems as though he was much more involved in the game. When did he say this?Interestingly according to Mark Bickley, Port are up to their ears with Dunkley and have been for months.
Bickley also said that we haven't even made the slightest contact with his manager and if that's true then it's incredibly disappointing.
I lot of players do well in SuperCoach but aren’t really influential in games. He and Macrae are outstanding but you only need one in a team. No use trading crouch for Dunkley and losing draft capital, we need those who can create goals and score them. That great bulldogs midfield we very pedestrian and didn’t create much forward at all. Obviously bont was injured and the rest kept racking up stats , we don’t need them going forwardI have him in my supercoach team and I know he averages 115 a game. I would look at someone like Tom Green from the giants. His pace is ok, not the quickest going around but not slow but he's a beast at winning the ball and fairly similar to Oliver at Melb. He is a goal scorer as well.
There's rumours about Taranto who I don't mind as a player. Is good up forward and a goal scorer who can run through the midfield but his kicking isn't the best. Can win the ball though.
Their midfield was hurt by Tim English being out. He's been close to the best ruck in the comp this year and is another mid for them. The Bulldogs don't have an overly good defence with Keath out (who is no star) and they are struggling up forward. JUH is pretty much useless so far and I think Bont has been carrying an injury. If you cut out Naughton you shut them down. There only other threat is Weightman who was quiet. They won't make finals imo.I lot of players do well in SuperCoach but aren’t really influential in games. He and Macrae are outstanding but you only need one in a team. Your right with English, he was a big loss. I think there biggest problem is the midfield bar Treloer always look sideways and backwards. Treloer did a lot of damage because he went direct to the forward line where Dunkley and Macrae kept going back and because of that, we got numbers back and defended well.Their midfield was hurt by Tim English being out. Interesting considering they already have Drew and Wines.A month or so ago
‘I heard similar’: Ex-Crow weighs in on shock trade claim surrounding Dogs star
A mate of mine at work who is a Bulldogs supporter who travels in similar circles with Bickey went and spoke to Bicks about it at a function.
Bickley told him that the only reason he dropped the rumour on air was to try and wake up the Crows who have been asleep at the wheel in terms of trying to recruit him. Port are apparently well advanced in talks with Dunkley about a potential trade while we haven't even attempted to make contact with his manager.
Now it might go nowhere and be a complete waste of time, but at least Port are trying to shake the tree to see if anything happens.

I am just passing on what I was told which came directly from Bickley, which if true, is pretty disappointing.
PlayStation trade is trading Fogarty for pick 1...lol.That I can agree with...them play stations really get a work out on Big Footy hey...
Maybe we don't want him? I'm not convinced he's what we need, especially given it would cost a lot in draft capital
Nah that was the asking price, the Bombers actually offered Pick 8 + change, and that Pick 8 was going to be swallowed up by the JUH bid so was effectively pointless for us, which is why the trade never went through. If Dunks requested a trade again, I can't imagine the asking price would be as high given he's now out of contract (we were getting a bargain on his salary given it was rumoured to have been relatively low, so not much incentive to move him on). Still, his family are weirdly close (just look at their family website...), so I'd be surprised if he actually moved interstate.Dunkley would be a great addition but for not for what he would cost can’t see us giving it up after being burnt in the Gibbs trade. The bombers offered 2 x firsts for Dunkley and were rejected from memory.
The way I see it we are limited to the following:
SA ties - Betts, Dawson, Thompson.
Rejected out of staters - Lynch, Jenkins, Seedsman, Keays, Jacobs.
Occasional offer to superstar - Carey, Cameron (unsuccessful).

That's who I wanted us to draft when we got Fogarty, but he was already gone to the SaintsHunter Clark from St Kilda is one I'd be interested in. He's not overly quick but is a nice ball user and hasn't had the midfield minutes he should have had.
Yeah recall Roo saying this on MMM believe was during 2017Wasn't there a rumour that we also offered a bucketload to Dusty pre-dynasty?
Find this a bit strange. Billy was traded in at the same time Nicks’ was appointed.
