we do not want anyone that anyone has just delisted - keays was a fluke
I would look at a KPP that’s just been delisted for a rookie selection if we end up getting rid of McAsey, we’ll be sorely lacking tall depth, particularly in defence

If Poulter gets delisted and makes it to the rookie draft, I’d consider him, too

we would be silly to not at least take a look at everyone. his vfl numbers were quite frankly ridiculous. if picking up players who are not getting a look in at other clubs is good enough for the best clubs, who are we to turn up our noses

my point is that i have no issue with the club trying these sort of things to improve our midfield. at least on the surface it looks like we are going to do very little outside of rankine and i dont think our side is good enough to do next to nothing midfield wise

look i would be ok with say tom highmore if delisted something like that but it terms of more mids with a shocking shoe when we are already laden with bad kickers you do not want him believe me

carlton supporters think hes a joke -

Imagine if we got both Rankine and Dunkley for effectively pick 5. And Port paid massive overs for JHF. That would be a very good day. Haha
I can go one better, while we get Rankine and Dunkley, the JHF stalls to the point that it doesn't get done and runs out of time, so Port basically do only the Rioli trade and waste all their time and miss out on any other deals.

Now this is something we should definitely be watching. Would love to get Dunkley for nothing
I would want us to be all over that.

It seems unlikely that they'd send him to PSD rather than accept a bit under, but if it happened would we swoop if he was there at our pick? I know there's the whole "doesn't want to be here" thing, but it's a draft - the whole point of it is that people sometimes have to go where they don't want to go. Port were keen previously, so chances are they'd pick him if we didn't - can't see him getting through to Brisbane anyway, so he's unlikely to get to where he wants to go regardless, so it might as well be to us. Presumably we'd have cap space to match whatever Brisbane are offering him?

Would be North. WC would go for him too.

Posturing, a team 9/10 times will take unders instead of letting them walk for nothing.

Exactly. Is pick 15 and a future 1st not more than reasonable for Dunkley?

Dogs with nothing better to do and there is only upside for them to make Brisbane to do extra leg work to somehow get a better pick/s.
