It’s because nobody watches Gold Coast but Davies is seriously terrible. He’s got decent attributes and I can see him developing into a good player in the future but right now he’s the most brainless player on the field. My mates and I have gone to a few Suns games this year and we just watch him for entire quarters run up and down doing nothing. He does have a bit of grunt when he gets around the ball but his skills need serious work still.

He's worth persisting with. Definitely has the attributes.

Assume Dew doesn't want him and Rowell (essentially two second year players) both playing in the guts. Don't think he's getting the balance right currently though.

He'd get a run in our rotations at Pieland, I reckon. He's a contested ball player, not a peripheral accumulator. Dew knows this, which is why they keep picking him.
He is a very handy option for them if something goes wrong with Rowell or Miller, which isn't beyond the realms, given their respective body woes.
