It didn’t look bad at all bud, so he’ll probably miss the year.

1,953 was enough to lessen the bye damage
I've clawed back to be at 1,367 overall rank and even won 8/10 league matches

Feck the byes - Onwards and upwards now

Ah yes, this is the AFL, where the result is penalised, not the action.

To be fair the criminal system is similar.

e.g Murder, Manslaughter, attempted murder etc, unlikely to be charged without a victim

23 starters (1 looped) could only manage 1828 points. Poor vc/c choice (English/Touk) along with several underperforming so-called premos did the damage, but the 8 rookies involved didn't help. They gave my 8 lowest scores of the round, their top scorer managed just 65 and the three whose scores counted managed just 178 between them.

On the plus side, my score was just enough for a small improvement in the ratings by 36 places.
I've averaged 1875 over the bye rounds improving my ranking in each round and moving from 5249 to 3566.

Best of all ... The byes are over!

Done for year syndesmosis I believe

Missed the 2000’s on every measure. Struggled to 1929 this round thanks largely to the vc on Macrae (honourable mention to Parker but that’s about it). Bye average of 1990 and this round’s score not enough to drag me into top 2k (2066). However, up from 10k or so three weeks ago so the byes have been reasonably kind I guess.

Now I’m just waiting for the wheels to fall off.

Still struggling to come to terms with this but feels pretty good hanging out with the cool kids. Even if I can finish the year in the top 800 would be my best season yet.
