You can’t trade a player to a club he doesn’t want to go to.

So if GC can get a better deal out of every other VIC club, they can't trade him? Does he stay? What happens if they trade him somewhere, other than Geelong? Does he sit out, a full year? This not being able to trade a player where the CLUB sees fit, is horse shite. Especially in contract, and the player wants to leave.

He’s contracted so he’d stay at GC.

The problem with trading in the AFL currently is that the players have to agree to go to their new clubs before getting moved on.

Ollie Henry requesting a trade to Collingwood is music to our ears.

Theres simply no way Geelong can get both him and Bruhn without giving up good picks, which they dont really have.

If they give up this years first for Bruhn and next years for Henry it is madness.

In my opinion they will use pick 18 in this years draft on one of the two, and we should look to pick up the other in the PSD.

If they get Bowes and 7 they will split it they will get it done they always do

They'll give up 2nd rounders mate.
One is a kid who's uncontracted and leaving, the other is one who's been pushed out of the seniors looking for more opportunities.
To think they're worth first rounders is madness

Both GWS and Collingwood are adamant that first rounders will be coming back.

Bruhn is worth a first rounder in particular.

The clubs also have to agree to it, as well. It's a shambles. If a WA player wants to come back to Victoria, you should be going to ANY vic club, bad luck. None of this wussy nominating clubs shite.

I bet they are.
So you expect then to say they'll be happy with a 3rd round pick for the players?

I understand where you are coming from, but theres a massive discrepancy between what the clubs want, versus what Geelong are able to pay, and all im saying is we in a position to cash in.

Its highly unlikely, but for the first time in many years, multiple uncontracted players are wanting to go to the same club, which allows us to potentially use pick 1 in the PSD.

Anyone that wants to point to Collingwood as a side that did a “quick rebuild”, just an FYI - The average age of their top 5 in the BNF at the start of 2023 season is 31.

Crisp 29
Pendlebury 35
Moore 27
Howe 32
Sidebottom 32

And they want to add Mitchell, to their mid mix. He turns 30, in May. Who is their up and coming LDU/JHF? Nick Daicos is a completely different player, so nobody mention him, thanks.
