people do realise that Butters would have to want to be traded and Port would want to trade him, right?

he's also a 22 year old player who has shown heaps. if he was in the deal there wouldn't be much added on top

Pick 8, future first and Bergman would be a good outcome

Agreed.

He’s just going to be Reid’s Sherpa anyway in 2024.

Reid v Francis-Hornes in 2024 will be worth watching.

Couldn’t even get two years out of him ******* joke we are

If he wants out, he wants out. It hurts, but bad luck. We move on. Give us Todd Marshall, Port Powa plebs. We'll take his contract on, no problem. We'll also take Ollie Wines, as steak knives. ;)

Just some negative thoughts creeping in...

- is this the other shoe falling on how we get Hunter Clark? 8 would feel like an overpay

- please don't have this followed up by the TT rumour, I couldn't stand to lose him too

Apparently has been struggling living in Melb since March.

Has told people that South Adelaide is more professional than North.

And Francis (stepdad) has pushed hard for him to play for port

(Not my words. An ITK port poster)
Fantastic

It wouldn't surprise me tbh. We've been ******* s**t this year.

None of these are really a long bow to draw.

Clark is a pick in 20s

Looking at other port players from Victoria:
Duursma?
Byrne-Jones?
Both of them?
They both have been somewhat down on form but one looked great early on in his career before a few impact based injuries and the other one was an all Australian like 2 years ago.
