Probably already been said in here, but I wouldn’t know as I can’t read, but i reckon most on here think we done alright, but just wanted Port to suffer more.

We were all laying it on all week about how we were gonna bend port over, until they signed everything bar their AFL license over to us, and when that didn’t happen, we saw it as a s**t deal.

We done well, it’s just that Port did great out of it, and that hurts.

Yeah I get that, it was a low blow from Port and one that I’m sure won’t be forgotten or forgiven in the near future
As to how well they did out of it, yes at face value, they’ve picked up last years number one pick for pick 8 and future 1st,
but I don’t think they’ve done that well at all,
at this stage JHF is far from the super star, generational talent that he was expected to be,
no doubt he’s a beast of a kid, with all the skills and talent in the world,
BUT the things he doesn’t have are exactly what’s stops these type of talents, from reaching there full potential.
He’s arrogant and not in the good way, entitled, selfish and hearts week as piss, definitely not the type of player, I’d be confident building a football club around and god help Port if things start off badly for him over there, media will show no mercy and be just waiting to lay the boots in.

I’d love it Port have a shocker next year and end up handing over another top 3 pick.

Dyl Williams was a weapon in his u17s year, injuries derailed his draft year but only 21 and kicked about 50+ sanfl goals, definitely has a bag in him. I really wanted us to draft him that year, it’s unfortunate he hasn’t translated to AFL level yet but I’d pick him up rookie pick 1 tbh
