theres room for them to create depth

stocker has talent, former first round pick, tough, versatile and a good tank, unlucky to be delisted
Isn’t his tank part of the reason of his delisting ?

Yes. TZ you've done it again.
That isn’t a crack at tZ as such. It just seems like there’s mixed info, particularly re: stocker apparently he’s got a good attitude/ bad attitude good tank/poor tank.

Again I’m not against picking up a speculative type for a rookie pick. I just am not sure what these guys bring to the table and it seems none of us do

He doesn’t have a good tank. A big reason why he doesn’t get midfield time and the main reason he was let go.

yeah thats what the blues fans say but it wasnt an issue in juniors he was considered to have a good tank and would accumulate with ease

Is Sultan Kosen worth a look, is only 30 odd years of age, hails from the Turkey so I assume Cat C or whatever.

Has a fair wingspan. FYI at only 137kg's will probably need to fatten up.

Strengths according to Sultan are as follows.

  1. Can see great distances
  2. Good at changing light bulbs
  3. Hanging curtains

Yes or no?
Sultan Kosen = The of Swing

Who cares what happened in juniors? Plenty of juniors coming through have strengths that don’t transition to AFL level. How many elite junior kickers have there been, that are poor at AFL level. What matters is now and there were various articles written at the time of his delisting that his tank wasn’t up to scratch.

Stevo was considered to have a good tank as a junior. Was 9th in the 2k.

Sometimes it doesn't translate to seniors for whatever reason.

Stevo glangler and commitment.
Stocker mental health?

Certainly no worse than some of the names being thrown around.

He’d probably move better than some on the list currently.

Yes at 246.5cm he would have as Jack Dyer would say arms like giant octopus testicles.
Sultan Kosen = The of Swing

Yes, if all things are equal, a fair chance someone could lose an eye. And it may even be the Sultan of the swing.

oh well

FB: Ben McKay
CHB: Griffin Logue
C: Luke Davies-Uniacke
CHF: Cam Zurhaar
FF: Nick Larkey

North Melbourne would be pretty happy with their spine as it sits despite coming off successive wooden spoons. The addition of Griffin Logue gives them some extra size in defence and a partner for Ben McKay.

Logue was an excellent swingman for Fremantle, able to hold up at either end of the field, while McKay has been one of the breakout key defenders of recent seasons. He will only get better as the team does.

Speaking of breakouts, Luke Davies-Uniacke was arguably the most improved player in the AFL after the bye in 2022 and will only improve as a tough on-baller with a lot of burst.

The question mark for the Kangaroos is inside 50. Nick Larkey is an excellent young key forward who they can build around. They will likely pair him with a ruckman in Callum Coleman-Jones, Tristian Xerri or Todd Goldstein, but Cam Zurhaar remains their second best goal kicker and can play tall.

North Melbourne’s spine would certainly feel a lot more secure had they taken Logan McDonald in the 2021 National Draft, but they will be satisfied with what they have.

Grade: 7/10

Faaaaaaarrrrrrk off. These ****ing clowns.

Logan McDonald gets a mention, what a joke!

Kid has done absolutely nothing in the AFL and would likely have struggled even more in a worse side had we picked him up.

If we had Logan McDonald on our list Ben Williams would have been working to re-home two players this off season.

WTF, I mean he will probably be a good player, but he played in the second best side all year, next to Buddy who takes all the attention and couldn't get a kick.
Morons who write this.

I think Logan will be a good footballer, but behind Comben. Just my opinion of course.

You've been going all-in on Comben I see TAO.

You know my thoughts. He's a great young talent, great attitude.

It's just that he also averages 0.3 games per season that may see this plan come unstuck.

Not if he plays for 1,000 years he'll be a 300 gamer up there with Harvey, Petrie, Arch, Schimma & Simmo.
