Don’t we get after the trade period that “appropriately compensated” means what it says now? Door is open but the offer would have to be very good.

Yes it does mean that, also does it mean we don't really rate whoever is there at pick 3? Or at least not the type we deem we require.

Surely we call Wardlaw at 2, I just cannot see us not doing that especially after the JHFF fiasco.

Tsatas , someone said to me that Bailey Scott could play that role. That fyi wasn't a knock on either of them.

Then I just haven't been overly excited about talking a mid-sized fwd with pick 3. Isn't P Curtis, Zurhaar, Thomas, Taylor and Ford enough of that type, I'd have thought so.

Anyways I am sure we'll get it right and at days end the group of Wardlaw, Tsatas and Sheezel are all touted to go in the top ten.

Will as they say be interesting.

Nah I reckon Sheezel looks a different type to those guys. Has a game based on great skills, touch and guile. Curtis is the closest for mine and in if the 'worst case' is 2x Paul Curtis' running around our forward line then I'm down with that.

Nothing wrong with it, we have issues up the other end which in time will be sorted. Leaves though Stevo, Perez, Young, Bonars, and Dawson for the majority destined to be shitmen.

Archer, Bergman and Goater need time.

I suppose I meant a Sheezel isn't a priority.

I’m very confident that Sheezel is more talented then every single one of those you’ve mentioned, including Tarryn, which is saying something.

Mate have you watched our club for the last 6 years? We need everything. Lots of it too.

There's absolutely nothing that can be assumed to be "sorted". We're at Coach #4 (now with added caveats), President #3, had the 2nd ever #1 draft pick in history up and run because apparently going interstate to the bottom club was, surprisingly, challenging and have won an aggregate 12 games (or something like that) over that period.

I wouldn't even assume that the Jim's bloke we have on retainer to mow our lawns will be proven up to the job in 2 years.

Honestly I’m not in the mood to still be drafting two high end kids next year. Would rather draft them now and get a year ahead. is there any way we can get ride of a future first and get the two mates + Sheezel now?

We don’t need a guy that led the u18 goal kicking, capable of kicking bags regularly?

News to me.

🤣

Look at this way TAO. We draft Sheezel and he shows something.

Then next year we bundle him up with our 2x 1st rounders and make a play for Tom Doedee.
I hope Bradys not reading this thread!
