Agree. Our two most important signings. If Clarko stays, LDU stays. With his brother signing a massive contract at the Blues, I would be concerned that Benny looks to join him at some point. Big signing and needs to get done early next year.
I don’t think they want to play in the same team as each other.
Did I read that somewhere this year?

Alternate news story, bottom side and so called basket case has not had a single player outside a tampered loose unit, and I respect footy loose unit's, request a trade. This is unprecedented. To retain the talent of Thomas, Powell, Scott, Philips, Mckay, Ldu and we could keep going obviously shows the beginnings of a great culture, shinboner at its core. Set Jy as captain and our group of revenge filled non pampered little hard nuts will start rolling teams. We will love them like we raised them ourselves and they will love us for not abandoning them like a fair-weather, add your multiple teams supporter here. We will cry Ron Casey's tears when we succeed, not purely because of the win, but because we will know how deeply amd hard we stuck it right freaking up em.

Too skinny imo.
Great defender but will struggle up forward like a Darcy Moore does.
Larkey is skinny too & he effectively plays forward too .
Dawson prob worth a try forward at some point . There’s been a few good defenders in the past turn into a reasonable forward …. Craig Scholl for us & in recent times the best I can remember being Naughton for the dogs

Good article explaining the mega deal. Paints Brady as the architect and also calls out North's strong relationships in the industry.

Larkey isn't skinny.
Comben is skinny

Interesting but is if gws wasn’t going for Cadman- Brady wouldn’t of done the deal.
Must really want sheezel/ wardlaw hopefully

Good read and to me that was the news - Cadman wasn’t in our top three.

It’s a good article but it’s frogshit that Rawlings was doing all the heavy lifting for Port and GWS. They both wanted what we selling, they should have been the ones coming to us.

In this instance the outcome is more important than the process RF. Good on him for getting a deal of that magnitude over the line. We also had some outcomes we wanted, and seemingly achieved them

There's really no difference between 1 and 3 given who gws will take.
Means the future first and 2 was compensation for jhf which is fine.

If this is accurate, two things stand out to me:

1 Rawlings' capacity to get that deal done knowing that coming away with Port's original offer or having Horne-Francis stay in 2023 was a disaster for the Club.

2 The arrogance of Port who knew Horne-Francis was worth more than what they offered but point blank refused to cough up a quality player.

What goes around comes around. Bookmark it.

This, this and this again.

It's a small industry and once you are marked negatively it's hard to come out of. Why do the Swans and Cats seemingly always do decent deals for the right players who generally improve once there. It's no coincidence, they are fair to deal with and deals happen in good faith.

Can't wait for next season to see Port start 2-6 and they start to get jittery about Kenny. Never look forward to death riding a team more.

Confirms that Brady is much more shrewd and competent than he is given credit for. Did the best he could in a crappy situation for the club. CCJ deal wasn’t great in hindsight but our strategy of dealing in good faith has already benefited us this year and hopefully will continue to do so in years to come.

I agree mate, and props to Rawlings (who I’ve been very critical of in the past). It’s just the arrogance of Port throughout this whole process that really irritated me.

James Rowe, Ben Davis and Brett Turner delisted.

Not sure there is any such confirmation at this point. The fact is, he was list boss at Wet Toast and they have had a stunning fall from grace. He was then employed by NM and we havnt gotten off the bottom of the ladder.

The only confirmation will be when we start to rise and when we have more kpfs than Larkey and Chom - which we don't at this point in time...
