Mahony, Lazzaro, Spicer will want to show something next season, cos right now they are next.
laz is contracted for 2 more years hes safe, lives with bmac as a sidenote, one we need to also sign asap

mahony and spicer are out of contract and would be odds on to go this time next year
It’s a fair point keep in mind w jz , Polec will likely be done too, does greenwood have one or two yrs left?
greenwood has 2 once he hits a trigger which is apparently a fairly easy one and smoothes out his contract

Out of contract next year, not sure if he has a trigger.

That’s what I thought

"Foxfooty.com.au understands Greenwood has signed a two-year deal with a simple games trigger for a third season to join the Roos as a delisted free agent, meaning North Melbourne will not need to sacrifice any draft picks to secure his services."

So he has 2 years effectively assuming I would imagine that he plays next year.

We will turn over a few more next yr too I would say . Mate and I just went through next yrs out of contract out of 18 players I had 3 definite resignings 6 more than likely and 9 uncertain

SEN - "Roos delist 376 games of experience as quartet departs". No other team has this in their delistings headlines lol
I honestly like all these guys from the perspective of heart and soul effort…

…unfortunately the record shows this collective experience includes 240 defeats.

surely jed is worth keeping..

I said it in the other thread, but gotta ask if it's the best result for both parties.

With Jed having to accept a rookie spot/wage, whilst we have Phillips & Wardlaw coming into his spot.

As much as I'd love Jed for another year or two on the rookie list, it's not the best for him & a lesser extent the club IMO.

Spicer could be good if he wasnt scared of his own shadow. Just needs to learn, the fundamental rule of football. If you go hard you don’t get hurt, if you are hesitant in a contest, you’ll end up getting smashed and broken forever

Out of all our delistings, I dare say Jed is the only one that may end up on an afl list.
Walker would be a chance as well. Key position depth always keeps doors open.

Rookie spot only, as a backman, he loses his opponent too easily, no spacial awareness, he’s too slow and decision making is beyond poor. As a forward, he is too slow, he blasts kicks no where near the big sticks and his aerobic capacity is not anywhere near where it should be as an AFL CHF.

Unlikely, more likely to be Rookied on our list than anywhere else.

Jed is more likely to end up on a senior list
