Seedsman delisted by the crows, worthy of one of our extra rookie spots to see if he can get over his concussion issues.
The Crows have committed to keeping him on their rookie list.

So did Gold Coast to greenwood

Yeah and at near 31, I'd hope we wouldn't take him and expect him to move back to Victoria on a rookie contract.

I think out of this whole Hawks disaster that issue will get a fair airing. It actually isn't fair to expect that of anyone.

Yeah, but I think its a bit different when the player in question has suffered concussion so bad they haven't played for a year and might not ever again.

It seems like bad sportsmanship to try and manipulate an outcome in that scenario.

Interesting that Jackson Callow has disappeared into the SANFL ether once more.

A year ago there was must underwear twisting that we didn't draft the next Jack Riewoldt.
dont think KM's around on here anymore, but from memory he had some very interesting takes on Callow

Oh. No, the Double Banger in that case was “George of the jungle” / “law of the jungle”. Did you not even mean that?
Ha! No I didn’t. Makes perfect sense now. I hereby return my Rare Devil Fish Double Banger. It is now my life’s mission to get one too.

I don't see why splitting our picks to improve faster is a bad idea.

People can laugh sure but I think it's worth considering- as we so bad we need as many players as possible incoming.

I'd consider it but I'd prefer not to as I feel that by splitting picks we improve faster to be a middle of the ladder team (again) without the cream (really top picks) to push to be genuine contenders. The downside there being that we might not get the chance at picks 2 and 3 again. I think a year of taking 2 and 3 is great even if it delays our rise by a year. When we are contending we should have the talent to have a genuine crack at winning finals.

The Martin’s, Petracca’s, Cameron’s, Oliver’s, Cotchin’s, Pendlebury’s, Judd’s, Hodge’s, Bontempelli’s, Franklin’s, Brayshaw’s, Roughead’s, Reiwoldt’s, Walsh’s, that win you big games, Brownlow’s & Leigh Matthews Trophies proportionately come from the top 5 at a far higher hit rate than anywhere else. You have to keep fishing for the superstars when you have the chance. Play the percentages. There’s plenty of complimentary talent available in trades and free agency but it’s superstars that win premierships. We need to hunt for them where there’s more chance of catching them while we have a line in those areas.

If a club offered another for our two would you do it?

We have 2 and 3.

Would 3 7 and 9 (purely speculating) do it?

Considering how bad we are i would consider for sure
With Wardlaw apparently passing our medicals I wouldn't do it. He's too good of a prospect, if fit. And I'm all in on Sheezel.

If we were out of Wardlaw and the team trading up wanted him then I would do it in a heartbeat.

Sheezel + Humphrey/Phillipou + Hollands > Sheezel + Tsatas

So we have moved on,

Jed Anderson 28 yrs old, 99 games
Kayne Turner 26, 111 games
Jared Polec 30, 148 games
Josh Walker,29 139 games.

That leaves the below with 100 plus games experience. Have highlighted those that may finish up next season. Left of Goldy, I hope he does enough to to go around again in 24.

Goldy 34
Cunners 31
JZ 32
Hall 32

Corr 28
Greenwood 31
Tucker 26
McDonald 28
Simpkin 25

At the end of 23 we'll add Stephenson and Zurhaar to the 100 gamers, well Zurhaar at least.

LDU and Larkey will be closing in on that milestone.

Heck we're still going to lack experience up until 2025. Be interesting to see how we try to bring in more quality experienced footballers, we need to.

We need the al clarko effect next season to garner interest in us.

Apparently 4 clubs met with Connor McKenna

Clarko needs to be on the phone asap if he hasn’t Already

Would be a big free get and we’d have more money than most

No thanks.

So overrated. Has had one good season playing the easiest position on the ground. Also wanted to dictate which position he plays.

Stick with Goater in the running defender role.

I think the underwear twisting was we didn't recruit any KPFs.
