He probably had our third most Brownlow votes for half a season last year and we turned around our season when he came in. Embarrassing that fans back the club despite all evidence showing that they make constant mistakes.
Who cares about those brownlow votes but? Umpires constantly get them wrong. You are going to still try to argue with me that after how many years in the system that Luke Dunstan was a good AFL footballer? Unbelievable stuff

Ratts *ed up because he bungled his communication but the real issue is we lost exactly the type of player that would have made a difference for zero. I don't care about the feelings part but we fractured a relationship and *ed ourselves up. I only care about winning. If Ratts want to piss off players go for it but make sure he gets us into finals first or he can * off. Windhager in his last patch of games has become a handy tagger but that isn't the output Dunny had last year.

Windhager is the future but you can have both like Geelong, Port and Richmond do. List management is a science and so far Gags looks more like a meth cook.
Dunstan is better than Windy and Owens now.
And stop the rubbish about bungled communication that is just a bs fabrication from your strange mind.
He was told exactly where he sat, didn't like it, spat the dummy, and ended up a rookie playing for Casey.
No matter how your mental gymnastics works, Dunstan would not have taken us to the finals and if he flukes a game with the Dees it will cost them a flag in all probability.

That goes for half the competition.

So that makes him better. McQualter and Eddy were closer to a premiership than Chris Judd in 2009.
Obviously better than him.[emoji849][emoji849]

What ever, he was better than most of our players last year when he got in. The club self sabotages and has a legion of online fanboys who cheers every dumb decision we make. Finished on the same Brownlow points as Dusty off 4 less games too. He had a great run of games and because the club had made a bad call you guys rushed to see the positives in it. He had limitations but if that was a criteria for delisting, we couldn't field a side.

He was last year.

I don't know how many times it needs mentioned but one poster saying Jones should be delisted does not mean the club is planning on delisting him.

He is also contracted for next year.
Plus
Getting rid of him or Hill for that matter doesn’t make us better as someone else beautifully put it.

You are the gymnast, you can't see your own feet because you're emotionally invested.

And any that leave were the worst players ever but we keep overpaying for worse players. Acres has outperformed Hill and was steak knives. Carlton will get him for a fourth round pick. Langford was just about free but because we made a parade about getting Hill we backed ourselves into a corner.

Hickey also on that list. I can't remember the justification on here but he was great loss as well. Would have used the pick on Robbie Young or something.

We * up our high end trades and only need to do those to make a distraction because we don't draft as well as others. It's a cycle of stupid. And the forum cheers it on like it's great management. We are like a demented geriatric that pays those nice young Irish guys $100,000 to fix their roofs and can't work out why it still leaks.
Yep Acres has been that good that Fremantle don't even want him any more.

Maybe but we need to learn to draft rather than pay overs for everything. Most sides don't let their good players leave.
I get the point but it feels like for a long time we were holding on to our players but it wasn't leading to any on field success. I think before Bruce, Newnes, Hickey left we had the best record for player retention.

Haha honestly only you could escalate from "we shouldn't have hurt Dunstan's feelings" to "losing Dunstan almost certainly cost us finals". Windy into the middle was much better than anything Dunstan could offer.
Not according to the guys who hand out Brownlow votes. Look I was as critical of some of dunstans faults as anyone, the issue isn’t that we lost a superstar. The issue is we lost a bloke for nothing we could have used both at afl and vfl level who went to Melbourne on the minimum because we stuffed up communicating with him.

I find it impossible to believe we wouldn’t have offered him another contract giving his run of form. Instead we had fallen out so badly he was dropped for the last game and wanted anywhere but moorabbin. A lousy end for a high draft pick who gave his all and at 1 point was passionate about the saints.

Dunstan had his limitations but should never have been discarded like he was. I know he wanted out but that was really poor player management. That’s the saints though, newnes, acres, dunstan, Bruce all garbage give aways while we leave the store having payed overs for everyone else’s trash.

It‘s already starting again this year, battle, billing, bytel, butler haha it’s players beginning with B week, trade them all for a packet of chips.
Dunstan was a Free Agent. We had no control over what we received for him leaving.

His football and the way every other club viewed his worth was what dictated us getting nothing.

Cap and he’s been that bad several clubs are reportedly making offers, carlton are leading the race and Fremantle have tabled an offer according to what I’ve read. We stuffed up, it happens but denying we did is starting to sounds like.

Which bigfooty are you on?

The one I'm on considers that to be the gold standard in accuracy.

It's called a "flamingo".

Eg: "It's a flamingo that jones is gone... who's gonna replace him?"
Etc.

Luckily our list management realised that he be taking a spot off Bytel or Byrnes and that with a gun like Jones in the side and the return of Hanners we'd be set for depth. And with Hunter Clark demanding an inside role, where would he have fitted in.

We don't let any player that can't kick in the side either and until he's prepared to take a hit for the whole side having kicking issues he should be as far away from the club as possible. We've won so many more games without him in the side and our ball movement is so smooth now.

The campaigner will probably sneak into the side for finals and have a flag before us.
i think you are absolutely spot on as usual

Nobody could argue that we’d driven any value he may have had into the ground. Hard to imagine a guy polling 11 Brownlow votes not getting another contract but there you are.

He was at rock bottom value yet only 1 club wanted anything to do with him.

It's hard to argue there was a market out there for us to get anything in return for him in the first place.

So is Logue out of contract and looking to go home? And would he cost more than a third?

Insane read on it.

Rather have **** all idea and get laughed at than be a sycophantic lap dog to every dumb decision the club ever makes. I may be hypercritical but your saccharine nonsense where the club can't make a single mistake gives you zero credibility as well.

George can you create a Dunstan Nuffy thread for the 3 Amigos to plumb new depths in?
It’s making it difficult to find the Hill back and forth.

Cheers matey.
If they're reading it at insane levels then please, let them continue. If you can't keep up with the intellectual levels of discussion it's best to just back away, chief.

Quiet now, the big boys are playing.
