His exclusive was Josh Jenkins telling Tim Watson on SEN that that's what he was heading

He would have ran with it without ringing any sources.

As far as journo's go he's just at the arse end. No idea how he's made it so far.
You have just got to be brave enough to say nuffie things. And then first come the nuffies, followed closely by the anti-nuffies.

was going to grab a salad roll today but went pepper pie and jam donut LOL
If only they’d do a salad roll in pie format.
Might go a pie
ToMorrow actually seeing as Friday night festivities coming up. Need a lining.
Plain pie 🥧 in case you’re wondering.

But 7NEWS Melbourne’s Tom Browne has revealed that the Saints are now becoming quietly confident that they can poach the superstar midfielder from Collingwood.

“This is now a cliffhanger in terms of the contract for his services. Collingwood, tonight, don’t know his response,” Browne said on 7NEWS on Thursday night.

“St Kilda now genuinely think they’re a chance of landing Jordan De Goey and pulling off what could be an absolutely massive coup, remembering they’re unlikely to have the behavioural clauses, or at least as stringently as Collingwood is insisting on.

“It’s their best and fairest, the Copeland trophy, tomorrow night.”

Tom Browne, lmao. May aswell ask your cat what the deal is.

Collingwood is refusing to withdraw behavioural clauses in Jordan De Goey’s contract, as the star midfield closes in on the biggest decision of his AFL career.
St Kilda believes it is still a chance to lure the restricted free agent as free agency officially opens on Friday, with the 26-year-old set to make a call in the coming days.
Essendon is also in the race, after the Herald Sun revealed last month a player delegation including Jake Stringer had made a pitch to the tearaway star.
Despite reports De Goey had this week committed to a five-year deal at the Magpies, he yet to officially re-sign.
Collingwood is still confident he will remain at the club, but believes it is good business to insert a behaviour clause into his contract given so many recent infractions.
Ideally the Pies would be able to announce o fans they have brokered a deal at Friday night’s Copeland Trophy.
They would need to make ground in the next 24 hours.

The De Goey family is believed to have reached out to industry veterans in recent weeks to ask for advice and has been told as a repeat offender it is wise for the Pies to protect their interests.
As a contracted Pies player he is expected at the best-and-fairest on Friday and after recording the first top-five placing of his career last year (fourth) he would expect another strong showing given his excellent year.

Essendon stepping in makes me think we're a huge show.

If it's us then it will have been in the works for months. Doubt he flips to Essendon at the last minute.

Pretty wild that we're even still a chance.
Dodo is vindictive he probably just wants us to pay more like he did with RoMa

If Pies are stretched financially, offer him 1m. Turn up the pressure. Who cares about 200k, when we are talking about a genuine star.

We have overpaid spuds for years. Given we understand how stuffed the Pies cap is, ramp up the pressure ffs.

If we don't have a truckload of cap space we are even more poorly managed then I already thought we were.

Good point. If we miss out on Jordie and just go the giraffe, what do we do with the Bing Bounty??? Do we start overpaying gops again???
