The De Goey family is believed to have reached out to industry veterans in recent weeks to ask for advice and has been told as a repeat offender it is wise for the Pies to protect their interests.

If Pies are stretched financially, offer him 1m. Turn up the pressure. Who cares about 200k, when we are talking about a genuine star.

We have overpaid spuds for years. Given we understand how stuffed the Pies cap is, ramp up the pressure ffs.

If we don't have a truckload of cap space we are even more poorly managed then I already thought we were.
